I think maybe maybe another way to put this that the guys would understand better is saying we are all just a subspecies of ape. Including distinctive subspecies within the human race itself. The statement that "humans are apes" vs "animals are spiritual beings" is the same statement, it's just different semantics.

The big difference with humans is that have enough self consciousness to be able to choose what type of species we want to become. By repeating certain actions over a long enough period of time, we will literally change both our genome and cultural heritage. For example, if everyone chose to become vegetarian, even though it wouldn't be healthy for some people, after a thousand years or so our bodies would adapt such that it would be healthy for everybody. Conversely, if we all chose to only eat meat the same thing would happen but for meat.

Personally I would call this ability to consciously choose what one becomes a simple example of metaphysics, even though it's really just normal physics over a long period of time. I agree there are also other metaphysical examples where certain conscious behaviors cause certain desired results to happen as well. I don't personally attempt to enumerate these though, both because my understanding of them is limited, but also because my understanding of them tells me that trying to discuss it would have limited effectiveness. In these discussions, I've found that semantics is really a limiting factor.

Sound or "music" is definatley a physical phenomena, it is the change in specific audible frequencies of air pressure. We may not be able to touch it or see it, though we can feel it, but its definately a physical phenomena.

... music is vibration (and each vibration has its own frequency), one of the self existing 7 principles, no one can explain what causes it. It is just there and nonetheless affects everything greatly.

I posted a while back a video showing the slit experiment, and physicists were baffled by the fact that matter was more fluid when not being looked at... such a conclusion really fascinates. Dont even think of speculating out loud on the boards about this paradox, unless you wish to be tagged as a new ager because this fluidity can only be explained with an esoteric investigation.

My wild take on the string theory is that the strings represent the geometric vibratory shapes "holding" matter throughout the cosmos. Since their shapes are too gigantic to be observed, we only perceive segments of them
