COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) -- Police were searching for a gunman Friday who opened fire near a Planned Parenthood clinic in Colorado Springs.
At least three officers were injured but it was not known if anyone else was wounded in the attack, authorities said.
Police Lt. Catherine Buckley said authorities also did not know where the gunman was located or whether the shooter had taken any hostages.
"We can't confirm where the shooter is at this point," she said.
Asked if the shooter had taken hostages, Buckley told reporters: "There is that possibility. There are a lot of possibilities with this scenario."

Authorities received a call of shots being fired near the Planned Parenthood clinic before noon.Responding officers exchanged gunfire with the shooter, Buckley said, adding that it was not known if the shooting had any connection to Planned Parenthood.Denise Speller, manager of a nearby hair salon, said she heard as many as 20 gunshots in the span of less than five minutes.
She told The Gazette newspaper that she saw a police cruiser and two officers near a Chase Bank branch, not far from the Planned Parenthood facility.
One of the officers appeared to fall to the ground and the other office knelt down to help and then tried to get the officer to safety behind the car, she said. Another officer told Speller to seek shelter inside the building.
"We're still pretty freaked out," Speller said by phone. "We can't stop shaking. For now we're stuck back here not knowing."
Ambulances and police vehicles were lined up at the nearby intersection and police told people via Twitter to stay away from the shooting scene because it was not secure.
Mike Pelosi, who works at a deli at a nearby King Sooper grocery store, said he heard over the store's loudspeaker just before noon that nobody could leave the store.
Pelosi said customers and store employees were confused about what was going on but not panicked. He said a couple dozen customers were standing near the store entrance waiting for instructions.
The Planned Parenthood clinic is located next to a medical office building and near a shopping complex that included the King Sooper and other stores and restaurants.

(Reuters) - Police in Colorado Springs cannot confirm reports that a gunman who shot and wounded several people near a Planned Parenthood clinic in the city on Friday was "contained," or rule out the possibility that hostages were taken, a police spokeswoman said.
"We do not know if he is contained," Colorado Springs Police Department spokeswoman Lieutenant Catherine Buckley told reporters.
Asked whether any hostages were taken, Buckley said: "There is that possibility." Her comments were broadcast on Fox News.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (Reuters) - Police arrested a gunman who stormed a Planned Parenthood abortion clinic in Colorado Springs on Friday and opened fire with a rifle in a burst of violence that left at least 11 people injured, including five officers, authorities said.
Five hours after the siege began, the suspect was taken into custody, the city of Colorado Springs confirmed in a message posted on the municipal Twitter account.
A Reuters photographer at the scene saw a man in a white T-shirt, with his hands cuffed behind his back, being taken out of an armored police vehicle and placed in an unmarked squad car.
An hour earlier, police said that progress in securing the building was slowed by the fact that the gunman brought "some bags" with him into the clinic and left several items outside, all of which needed to be checked for possible boobytraps or explosives.
No fatalities were reported by authorities. Five police officers were among those injured in the gunfire, said police spokeswoman Lieutenant Catherine Buckley.

There was no information provided on the nature of the injuries, or the condition of any of the victims.
Police swarmed the area around the building after an emergency call reporting shots fired at about 11:30 a.m. Mountain Time (1830 GMT), and officers ultimately confronted the suspect inside the building, Buckley said.

There was an abortion clinic shooting hoax in Colorado. Several things don't wash AT ALL. First of all, if a guy went into an abortion clinic to shoot it up, there would be a lot more than "3 dead with two un named". Supposedly this guy went in, held everyone hostage, and only shot outside the clinic from a window!

So far there is one police officer confirmed dead, and the two other dead will be "named later", (after the local abortion/communist/kike community decides who they want taken out, and sends someone into their homes to shoot them tonight) under the disguise of this stupid fake story.

AND NOW I JUST FIGURED IT OUT AND WILL SAY IT LIKE IT IS: VIRTUALLY ASSURED: CANNED PARENTHOOD HIRED THIS GUY TO GO IN AND START SHOOTING OUT A WINDOW. THEY WANTED DEATHS, BUT NOT IN THE CLINIC. Meanwhile Obama gets his gun ban on extremely dubious grounds, and if the American people permit it, they are all accessories to murder because in my opinion, everyone at canned parenthood should get life in prison if not executed anyway. And that is precisely what a bunch of luceferian communists would want, to get as many people damned to hell as possible over how they side on this.

The story is a lie anyway. Let me tell you how I know:
Supposedly this guy held everyone hostage for SIX hours. Not one hour, not five hours, not three hours, but SIX HOURS, which is a Jewish code for "this is a lie", folks, any time you see six in any news report it is suspicious, see it more than once, double suspicious, see it more than twice and the report is a confirmed lie. You will see a lot of this type of lie being done in the ziopress, and when you do it is automatically, any time "six" shows up a staged report or a totally false report.
