We didn't fight the civil war to free Dindus.

It was a tax dispute between the South and North.

The South paid more taxes during the Revolution since they could afford to. These taxes weren't lifted after the war. This pissed people off to the point of rebelling.

Muh Slavery was added much later. Slavery still existed in the North during the war with no interruption. Lincoln planned to ship back all the Dindus to Africa after the war ended but was assassinated. Lincoln openly hated Blacks and was extremely racist.
