I went to a so-called Christian church today. I was there to keep an eye out for a woman I had met at the local Internet cafe - which neither of us goes to very often.

The Jew apologist minister made it a point to spend about 5 minutes talking about Israel and Judaism.
100% pro-Israel, making it a point to make fun of anyone who believes the Holocaust didn't happen (lumping them in with Ahmadinejad, who must have said something that upset the Jews and their Shabbas Goyim supporters).

It was sad to see the Christian spirit diverted to support such a Murderous and Evil Crime Gang.

Sadly, if you want to hear some truth about Israel in America, you are more likely to hear it from the lefties (e.g. at an antiwar rally) than from more faux conservative folks.

Israhell controls their thoughts by controlling American Xtianity. (Well, and American media ... and that thing called academia.)

Birzeit University condemned the Israeli occupation’s flagrant violation against its student body and the arrest of many during the last few months, most recently the rest of head of the students’ council Saif Al-Islam Daghlas and several council members.

The university denounced the arrest of its students, saying education is a basic right protected by all international laws and charters.

It decided to address a large number of academic institutions as well as human and rights institutions around the globe to expose Israel, a country that pretends to be an oasis for democracy, but in fact targets education in Palestine under unsound pretexts.

“We call on international institutions to practice pressure on Israel, as the occupying state, to release Palestinian prisoners, including our students.”

The university’s administration affirmed that Israel’s repressive measures against the Palestinian people in general and the students in specific shall only strengthen international efforts in support of an academic boycott of Israeli institutions.

“Such violations against our students will not stop Birzeit University from playing the pilot’s role in confronting Israel.”

So far, Israel has imprisoned 90 female and male students, including one employee and two instructors.

I was just listening to an old John Friend podcast; I think guest was Dr. Rebecca Carley. Near the end Carley noted that she always says CHRISTianity, Christmas, etc coz where Xianity, Xmas came from was djooz, who disdain writing the name Christ.

Not sure if that's what you were referring to in your incomplete thread title, the "- Wouldn't even call it Christi" part?

Me and my wife went to a couple different churches and they almost always talk pro Israel. We agreed in advance to leave at the first mention of it. Get a lot of looks from people lol.

Just like the last 2 presidential elections, wife asked why they are so pro israel when they are campaining for a USi position. She said it's like they want to be prime minister of israel not a USi president. She has come a long way since then.

wouldn't pimping for izzy be a violation of churchs' 501-C3 tax exemption arrangements? You know, no talking politics, in exchange for tax exemptions?

I recall it was Lindsey 'Get Your Pencils Ready' Williams from whom I first learned about irs.gov's castration of church political power, via the 501-C3 tax exemption arrangements beginning in the 1960s. Nowdaze nearly all churches are 501-C3.

Not that anyone could ever compel dajooz.IRS.gov to enforce this 'unique exception' to their 501-C3 rules. :rolleyes:

that's been done! I took a real estate class around 3 decades ago; one of the prof's little anecdotes was re people who'd started their "church" as their house, for the tax exemption. There were some requirements he noted; one had to do with needing to have at least weekly "services" there with the "congregation." So he said there were little area networks which would form, where several ppl would play the game of establishing their houses as "church of..." and on say, Sunday, they'd all go from "church" to "church" and have a brief "service", then on to the next player's house/church.

I'd bet it wouldn't work today; they'd prolly stop you on zoning laws, IE residential zones prohibit churches. Ahh, djooz would figure out some workaround, consult with your local rabbi for further info. :)
