And it is about a white man...

-------------------------------------------

The new Netflix documentary series “Making A Murderer” has taken America by storm. The documentary alleges that a corrupt police department in Manitowoc Wisconsin, framed Steven Avery and Brendan Dassey for the brutal murder of Teresa Halbach.

Steven Avery had spent 18 years in jail for a crime he didn’t commit and was suing the Manitowoc Sheriff’s department, for $36 million, for their part in his wrongful conviction, when he was accused of murdering Teresa Halbach. Steven and his nephew Brendan, were convicted of the murder despite there being no evidence the men committed the crime.

Quite an amazing story.

The implication would be that the state police murdered the woman to frame Steven Avery, and then planted DNA evidence. Planting evidence is one thing murdering an innocent woman to frame a man they have beef with is entirely different. His nephew had previously admitted to being an accomplice, but was acquitted earlier in August this year. I really don't know what to make of this. He did previously douse a cat in gas and lit it, which would suggest psychopathy. Further it was suggested that the blood in the car from him was taken from a vial of the crime he was convicted of in 1985, but it was checked for preservative, but it had none in the car...

I would lean towards him being guilty of this latest crime, and possibly the police tried to enforce the evidence. We'll see what the forensic results are in a few months
