The system as described in 1792

Fast forward to 2016 to find .... only base money is recognized. Produce something real in the metals of money and people think it is fake.

Oh ... and I should add the next paragraph ... where the definition of 'base money' is expanded to include silver and copper.

So who now can come up with a cite that is effective at the present day in the U.S. where bank notes are considered "money"? How's about it 7th_trump? You care to take on this leap of logic?
