Unique Rifle Brass, bigger than 30 Cal, 1/4 inch longer than 308 - What is it ?
I found 2 pieces of brass I hadn't seen before. The head-stamp markings are not English/ Western alphabet. They look Arab, Israeli, Chinese, I don't know.
The ID on the blown-out brass is .330. If it was 338, the blown out diameter would be 338 or bigger. So I'm thinking it's 325 something.

I conclude it's 8x57 Mauser -
"Due to the cartridge's high performance and versatility it was adopted by the armed forces of various governments, including Spain, Poland, Czechoslovakia, Romania, Iran, Israel, Turkey, China, Egypt, Yugoslavia, former German African colonies, and the early Bundeswehr of West Germany."
I agree that a picture would be helpful -
