Shortage of Lowers - Why Jan. 2016 ?

I have been waiting for lowers to become available at Palmetto State.

I need an AR-15 lower and an AR-10 lower, to go with uppers I bought, that have been "sharing" a lower with another upper.

So anyway, I have been watching the PSA website every day. No new rifle style lowers - the entire month of January.

Then I thought, well maybe it's just the rifle lowers. Nope. It's all their lowers. Are they have are Blem's (Blemish) and pistol lowers.


Bearing in mind that MidwayUSA, one of the biggest firearms etailers, sells Zilch that involves an FFL - i.e. no lowers.

Of course, I could ask PSA about "why no lowers now Jan 2016", but their customer service email doesn't work so well.


Anyway, have any of you noticed a Shortage of Lowers ?

CNC guy is still on leave?

Do they have a phone number. Some times old school outfits prefer talking on the blower mano a mano.

My advice, pick up the telling bone, put in a call and make a new friend.
