Oregon man in possession of 13 million gallons of illicit rainwater sentenced to jail

http://www.mnn.com/your-home/at-home/blogs/oregon-man-in-possession-of-13-million-gallons-of-illicit-rainwater

An Oregon resident with 3 massive man-made ponds on his property is sentenced to 30 days in jail after being found guilty (again) of collecting rainwater without a permit.

Note the status of OREGON resident? As such he must obey all OREGON laws whether he agrees with them or not. No arguing the fact. No GET OUT OF JAIL FREE card. OREGON says he must not hoard (my word) rain water and he is guilty as charged.

So what is the remedy?

DON'T BE A RESIDENT

Alternatively he could also stop breaking the law.

ARTICLE XVI

BOUNDARIES

Section 1. State boundaries. The State of Oregon shall be bounded as provided by section 1 of the Act of Congress of February 1859, admitting the State of Oregon into the Union of the United States

Following is the Statutes at Large describing the boundaries of Oregon

http://oi63.tinypic.com/2555hqq.jpg

Notice two things about the boundaries

(1) It begins AT SEA. When you start AT SEA you don't venture onto LAND.
(2) There are no WATERSHEDs included in the description. Granted it is all about water but not the WATERSHED (the land that drains into the rivers and other drainage channels).

thats the inherent problem with the right of owning earth/what Nature produces. There is no other way round, either we become earth custodians (no property rights anymore) or the elite will continue to choke us to death using property rights and defining collective rights and cashing on it.

Monetizing earth is immoral because it leads to the privatization/cartelization of natural resources

dualism at its finest

Just confusion. They pretend to teach you grammar in grade school but don't bother to teach critical thinking in the process. So grammar becomes something used to control your actions, thoughts and beliefs.

Ownership is a fairy tale. To own is to owe. Instead of owning things you have either use or usufruct.

Walmart doesn't own the merchandise they sell. Instead they are agents for a consignor. You don't buy things at Walmart because you don't have money (in the lawful sense). Instead you make a token 'payment' and you become the agent for the consignor.

You cannot own water but you might have rights to water. Water does not have the capacity to be owned. Oregon boundaries start at sea and you cannot own Oregon. You don't even want to be in the boundaries of Oregon else you will be classified a 'resident' (thing identified). Things at sea that are found swimming around are classified 'fish'. Fish get hooked and if found to be large enough are gaffed. Small fish are returned until they grow a little more.

custodian privelleges. We are all basically modern game keepers. We get to sustain our selves and make use of some of things the system makes but the system claims ownership cradle to grave.

Apparently, once upon a time, the state did indeed allow Harrington — code name: “Rain Man" — to collect water in his reservoirs. However, officials reversed their decision the same year, 2003, that the three permits were issued, citing a 1925 law that states the city of Medford holds all exclusive rights to "core sources of water" in the Big Butte Creek watershed and its tributaries.

I honestly think that this court ruling is craziness at its finest. Though the latter highlights the ownership rights defined by corporations, the guy prevented water companies/city from doing business.

I look at the whole picture. Eventually water becomes blue gold. It already is. Corporations will always take over, using whatever rules/laws they designed for us. That has been the plan all along

Your statement is correct for RESIDENTS. If you choose to own things while declaring yourself within the boundaries of Oregon (used as an example only) then you are declaring yourself to be a wabbit on opening day of wabbit season.

Again ... GRAMMAR. At one time you did your duty in an outhouse (if you were so lucky). There the issue was called NIGHTSOIL. This was a valuable amendment for the soil used to improve productivity of gardens. Now you do your duty with indoor plumbing. The issue is called SEWAGE because you blend household chemicals in with the NIGHTSOIL. This is toxic and must be regulated.

What is the difference between RAINWATER and ILLICIT RAINWATER? The act of collecting and hoarding.

I see your point but no man's made laws were ever meant to serve humanity. It all happens by design.

you argue about grammar, I are about reality

The TRIVIUM encompass the arts of grammar, logic and rhetoric. Grammar by itself (without logic or rhetoric) is nothing but nonsense. Add logic and you have reason. Add rhetoric viva voce (as spoken) and you have more power than the most well equipped warrior.

Words are symbols. They aren't reality and they don't apply to anything real. Thought is electrical but ceases when a death certificate is issued or when grammar is considered a stand-alone art.

Logic is also a learned skill and not an divine gift or inheritied ability. A lot of people claim logic in their arguments, however just using the word logic to describe what they are doing doesn't mean it is logic. You need to be taught it. You might not get taught properly. I guess it depends on who the teacher is. Common Core 3 x 4 = 11 relies on logic according to it's promoters.

So then you have to question the logic.
