$1.1 billion needed to fight opioid addiction – White House
3rd February 2016

‘President Barack Obama is seeking $1.1 billion in new funding to address opioid abuse and a heroin epidemic that has surged in states across America, the White House announced on Tuesday.

The administration will ask for the increase in spending to be spread over two years to expand access to treatment. The proposal, which the president will unveil in his budget recommendations next week, will be a significant boost in federal spending to battle the heroin addiction epidemic. The government is already spending $127 million on treatment programs this year.

If approved, the funding will help “ensure Americans who want treatment can get the help they need,” said the White House.’

If they stopped handing them out like candy would be a start. When my kid had his wisdoms removed they gave him a scrip for 30 days! Of course he chowed them all in 5 days. Now if he wasn't a user he could have sold them for $10.00 each. They are everywhere, had a complete stranger come up to me asking if I needed any. Insanity!

Heroin follows that trend, when they aren't available heroin is. Cheaper and more available. Meth same story.

I strongly recommend the book Chasing The Scream by Johann Hari. It changed my mind on drugs and drug treatment. There's a lot of intrenched money that doesn't want a change. I suspect this money will be handed off to friends and filtered back to the politicians.

fraudulent economics always requires mind control, and getting people hooked is only possible when parasiting their minds with a fake reality
