Poor Jeb Bush; the Republican presidential contender had to tell the audience of a New Hampshire event when they were supposed to clap during his speech Tuesday.

The New York Times was present at the event, and reported on the embarrassing moment:

Speaking to a crowd at the Hanover Inn near the Vermont border during his final stop of the day, Mr. Bush finished a fiery riff about protecting the country as commander in chief – “I won’t be out here blowharding, talking a big game without backing it up,” he said – and was met with total silence.

“Please clap,” he said, sounded defeated.

The crowd obediently clapped.

There's a video at the OP link; it's about as sad as you can imagine it. What a loser.

Looks like he was joking.. but a good joke is based on reality... the reality is he is a loser.

Was it intentional that Jeb! plug Ted with his use of 'TRUSTED'* in the banner behind him?

*granted it's subliminal and not directly overt, but still, it's there and it DOES reinforce the Rafael use of TRUSTED - surely they could have used another word in place of trusted...like perhaps 'responsible'? ANYTHING to avoid the use of 'TRUSTED'

Really, you think he was joking? I don't know, I don't see how anyone could end a speech, pause, and then say "please clap" as a joke. I don't think he planned on saying it, but when his speech was over and nobody applauded he knew he had to say something, so he tried to make it sound jovial, but it didn't work.

Note Jeb!'s poor posture, he's on his way to being a hunchback. (Perhaps it's from bending over to hear his midget mestizo wife)

What kind of doofus claps for the man before getting their $25 daily stipend for doing so? They should demand payment first; no money - no clappy.

I guarantee at the private $2700 per plate events the morons know when to clap. They're still morons to go anywhere near Jeb!

They went their because they like to get 25 bucks, not because they like Jebulon or his message, they understand they should clap occassionally but they really can't figure out when. He should have hired a clue-them-in guy so didn't have to do it himself. It looks weak!

Next scene he will be jumping up down, mad as hell, red faced, steam coming out of his ears, screaming, "daddy got to be president, and then George. Now its my turn. My turn, my turn, my turn...".

In the scene that follows, the Republican party take out Trump, disqualify Cruz and Rubio for NBC issues, then Jeb steps up and takes the candidacy.

That must have been the finest moment of dubya's presidency, when they pretended to have won the Iraqi war!
