Israelis Overwhelmingly Rank Obama ‘Worst President for Israel in The Last 30 Years’

TEL AVIV – A new poll shows that Jewish Israelis rank Barack Obama as the “worst” U.S. president for Israel in the last 30 years, the Jewish Journal reported (http://www.jewishjournal.com/rosnersdomain/item/how_bad_do_israelis_think_obama_is_as_bad_as_a_us_ president_can_get).

An overwhelming majority of Israelis, 63%, put Obama in the “worst” category, while former President Jimmy Carter came a distant second with 16% voting him as “worst” president.

The survey, which was conducted by Panels Politics in Tel Aviv, asked Israelis to vote for the presidents they thought were “best for Israel” and which they believed to be the worst. The list included Obama, Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton, and George W. Bush.

The Jewish Journal noted that even among the Israeli left, which comprised 7% of those polled, 35% believed Obama to be the worst. Carter again was second worst with 21%.

Clinton topped the “best” list, with 37% of votes. This despite the fact that Clinton, a Democrat, clashed with Netanyahu, spearheaded a failed peace process, and was opposed to Jewish construction in the West Bank, Gaza and eastern Jerusalem.

As the Jewish Journal explains: “Israelis remember Clinton fondly because, unlike Obama, he was able to convince them that Israel is dear to him.”

Panels Politics conducted a similar survey in 2012, before the collapse of Israeli-Palestinian talks under Obama, and, notably, before the Iran deal. The poll found that 47% of Israelis viewed Obama as “pro-Palestinian while 24% said “neutral and 21% said “pro-Israel.”

In 2015, however, 60% of respondents said the Obama administration was “pro-Palestinian,” and only 9% said it was “pro-Israel.”

For the Jewish Israelis who identified as religious, 81% said Obama was “pro-Palestinian.”

Long post incoming, but many people (including most leftist Jews) don't realize how anti-Israel this president has been, no matter how many times he claims to be pro-Israel.
The answer to your question is No. No other Administration has been so intentionally anti-Israel and anti-Jewish as the Obama administration.(Yes Obama and especially Hillary intentionally ran a Jew-hating State department, I'll link proof in videos below, accusations of Jew-hatred isn't something I take lightly). Knowing that the left in Israel is much more malleable to American pressure than the right, Obama helped to run the V-15 "anyone but Bibi" campaign in Israel (Just imagine the outcry if Bibi was to send money and personnel to support Mitt Romney over Obama.) Obama's administration officials leaked Israel's plan to use Saudi Airbases to strike Iran if war was to happen, and a year later they also leaked the same plan for Israel to use Azerbaijan's airbases. This alone shows how Obama treats the issue of Israeli security. If in 2008, someone was to say that Obama and his cabinet would boycott the speech of the Israeli Prime minister, people would have called them insane, but Obama was able to turn support of Israel into a left/right issue, making anyone who supports the Jewish state seem like a right wing war hawk. Due to this narrative put out by Obama's administration, the left in America trusts the totalitarian gay-murdering Islamist dictatorship of Iran more than they trust liberal and democratic Israel. No matter how many times the Ayatollah proclaims death to the US and Israel, the left has come to believe that Iran is a peaceful nation that never goes to war, while Israel is the war hawk trying to bully poor Iran. The notion that Israel, a nation of 7 Million Jews, WANTS to fight a war against a nation of 77 million muslims is INSANE. But this is the lie that Obama sold to his supporters, that anyone who is against the Iran deal is pro-war, and Israel are the war hawks, not Iran, who is currently developing ICBMs that totally aren't going to be used for delivering nuclear payloads in 10 years.
It's really ironic when Israelis hear accusations that Israel is in control of American politics. This couldn't be further from the truth, and it's quite the opposite, America, while not in control of Israel, has HUGE influence in Israeli politics. Almost every Israeli foreign policy decision is debated in the Knesset through the lens of "What will America think of us if we do this?" Israeli politicians are constantly bringing up the issue of US aid and how they must go along with the latest "peace conference" lest they piss off America. Every single president thinks that they're going to be the President that finally brings peace between Israel and Palestine, as if Carter, Reagan, Bush, Clinton, and Bush just didn't try hard enough. So every 5 years or so Israel needs to jump through more hoops set by the US and make huge concessions just to bring the Palestinians to the negotiating table. As much as Israel would like to say "We're not going to negotiate with a Jew-hating PA that pays the families of terrorists a reward for killing Jews and names streets after murderers who stab Jewish children to death." But of course, Israel must say "We are willing to continue the negotiation process with the hope that a sustainable peace can be achieved with our neighbors" or they'll seem ungrateful for the US aid. (Most right-wing Israelis/right-wing American Jews are actually in favor of gradually reducing and eliminating US aid to Israel btw, it's the leftists of Israel that are willing to capitulate to any US demand lest they lose their precious US Aid.)
Now to my accusations of Jew-hatred from Obama and his state department, which I don't take lightly. I voted for Obama, and I never thought I'd see such blatant Jew hatred coming from his administration until after the Kosher Deli shootings, where Obama and his state department refused multiple times to recognize it as an anti-semitic attack committed by Islamic terrorists.
Reporter Matt Lee exposed this state departments blatant anti-semitism during the Kosher Deli shooting, where this administration refused to call the attack anti-semitism. Here's a video of him exposing the state department's double standards when it comes to Jews yet again. Just in case you didn't read that correctly, i'll say it again. It's official white house policy that murdering Jews in a Kosher Deli for being Jewish is NOT antisemitism.
Anyone seeing an accusation of this supposedly progressive and tolerant Administration whitewashing Jew-Hatred would naturally think it's not true, but the videos don't lie. Here's yet another video of the state department denying that the people murdered in that Deli were targeted because they were Jewish (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q64EloE5YpU&feature=youtu.be&t=206). The state department rep explains what Obama meant when he said the attacks were 'random': "The individuals who were killed in that tragic incident weren't killed because of who they were, but because of where they randomly happened to be." This is the THIRD TIME this administration refused to call the targeting and murder of Jews antisemitic.
This administration has consistently refused to acknowledge antisemitism. Under this Administration, the issue of terrorism must be made neutral, Israel and Palestine must always share equal blame (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rwY5OzOoot4). This administration tries so hard to be balanced, that they end up being extremely biased. When a Jew is gunned down or stabbed for no other reason than for being Jewish, and the other side says he deserves it for being Jewish, taking the middle position makes you a Jew hater, and that's exactly what this administration has done over and over again. There's nothing more insulting than for an Israeli family who just lost their child to a terrorist stabbing attack to turn on the TV and listen to Obama talk about how Israel needs to "stop the cycle of violence". This Administration has whitewashed antisemitism for years in an attempt to stay neutral, even when one side is so clearly in the right, and the other so clearly in the wrong.
Somehow this administration continues to get away with policies like this, and Matt Lee helps to set the record straight. I don't know how so many Jews continue to apologize for Obama and his administration despite their OBVIOUS contempt for the Jewish State and their official state policy of whitewashing antisemitism.
If a terrorist going into a Kosher Deli and murdering Jews for being Jewish is NOT antisemitism, then I really shudder to think of what Obama's administration would consider actual antisemitism.

Also how Obama handled the recent hostage crisis. They say that the government gave them money, but what really happened is they unfroze Iran's accounts and let them have access to their own money again as part of the deal.
