Probably. Neither has been detected transmitting any signals, likely waiting for detonation signal if EMP. An EMP set off directly above CONUS would totally fuck everything up. Which is why the Pentagram is considering shooting both down. For once those at the Pentagram could do something positive.

1) They have allegedly placed a couple of satellites into orbit, the ability to place satellites into orbit = ICBM capability (which is why the very simple 'beeping' Sputnik satellite placed into orbit by the Soviets alarmed those at the Pentagram, the Soviets had beaten the west to ICBM capability).

2) They have allegedly set off thermonuclear devices, nukes = EMP, and reportedly EMP devices are easier to make than nukes. Numerous sources assert an rudimentary EMP device can be built for $1,000 or less.

What better way to leverage one's military capabilities than to place an EMP satellite into orbit positioned to continually pass over an adversary that has virtually zero countermeasures (other than shooting it down preemptively*)?

*if the N. Koreans had been clever they'd make their EMP satellite appear to be a functioning communications, weather, or even spy satellite

As much as I respect you I doubt any of this is possible (within reason). NK is a place far off the map, no one can go in and no one can get out. The reasoning is they don't want nothing to do with the corrupt world around them which I can't blame.

When did the USi walk across and draw the line between the N and S? 1950 something? This created the N and S and also the vietnam war. Something with BS reasons for another war. I accept I may be way off but still think I am close.

No one knows exactly what went on, probably not even the commanders or leaders. All by design of course. Ohh and that little fact that they (NK) wouldn't accept a western (jew) central banker. They have something stopping the west but I am not sure of what it is. Whatever it is is obviously secret since no one can get in our out, perhaps blind mans bluff?

Two things: They certainly have the state resources (in theory at least) to launch satellites into space, AND an EMP device is DEFINITELY within range of ANYONE with a modicum of technological capability and the most modest of resources - this definitely includes groups like IS*.

*the challenge for IS would be delivery high enough in the atmosphere over CONUS to take out the entire country, however an EMP device delivered in a van would take out a city for sure
