This is why I have always thought of Trump as unintelligent. He says flippant things for short -term effects not thinking about principles or long term consequences. His words are mostly short range bluster and shallow in meaning. But it may take an idiot like him to shake out the cockroaches from Washington. A smarter man would stay clear of that hellhole.
