UPDATE: Doc source appears legit – link address directs to FEC disclosure site. Original app was created in late October of 2015 and signed off on January 30th, 2016. Those dates make it appear even more likely this has been a plan in the works for some time and more fully explains Mitt Romney’s anti-Trump speech yesterday. Mr. Romney is making certain he has a seat at the proverbial convention table should there be a brokered convention.

It shows Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan preparing to make another presidential run – a plan that began back in October according to the filing date. This appears to come from the official FEC.gov website.

Redcurve (noted at the top of the FEC Form 1 page, is a political fundraising, accounting service – a very capable group.

Is this a just-in-case filing, possibly an amended-for-some-reason filing for a still active 2012 campaign entity, or a real effort to stage a challenge at the GOP convention in order to rip away the nomination from Donald Trump?

Either way, it’s damning evidence against the RNC/GOP Establishment who made such a fuss about wanting Donald Trump to sign a “loyalty pledge” while at the very same time, working behind the scenes to ensure he never wins the GOP nomination.

Just yesterday, Mitt Romney said he was not running. Perhaps he considers swooping in at a brokered convention to not qualify as actually running? At the very least, he was preparing to do keep his options open, and that had to have been done with the blessing of the GOP powers that be.

Here is the link to the PDF as well: HERE (http://docquery.fec.gov/pdf/662/201601309004959662/201601309004959662.pdf#navpanes=0) which includes the other three pages of the F1 filing.

WRH did a flashback on the Romney dog. I remember that brewhaha
from 2012 Wash Post

Mitt Romney’s dog-on-the-car-roof story still proves to be his critics’ best friend

It happened more than a quarter century ago, at the start of a Romney family summer vacation. But the tale of Seamus, the Irish setter who got sick while riding 12 hours on the roof of Mitt Romney’s (http://www.washingtonpost.com/mitt-romney-2012-presidential-candidate/gIQANxIecO_topic.html) faux-wood-paneled station wagon, is ballooning into a narrative of epic proportions.

It has come to characterize the candidate — and not in the favorable way Tagg Romney hoped for when he first talked in 2007 about his family’s annual road trips.

Late-night host David Letterman has been giving the dog near-nightly shout-outs. There are parody Web videos, “Dogs Aren’t Luggage” T-shirts (http://dogsagainstromney.spreadshirt.com/) and Facebook groups. (“Dogs Against Romney,” which protested outside last month’s Westminster dog show, has more than 38,000 Facebook fans.) The New Yorker featured a cartoon, with Rick Santorum (http://www.washingtonpost.com/rick-santorum-2012-presidential-candidate/gIQA61AHdO_topic.html) riding in Romney’s rooftop dog carrier, on its cover last week. In the five years since the story was revealed, New York Times columnist Gail Collins has mentioned Seamus in at least 50 columns.
