COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — A shooting in the parking lot of a market near downtown Columbus has left a 7-year-old boy dead and another small child and a man wounded.

Police say the boy was shot in the head Friday and died at a hospital. A 4- or 5-year-old child and a 19-year-old man have been hospitalized.

The Columbus Dispatch (http://bit.ly/1TZXqq3 ) reports police say they’re questioning three people who might have been involved in the shooting but haven’t arrested anyone.

Investigators believe the children were passengers in a car that was struck by bullets. Police have blocked off an area around the market.

Witness Jay Keen co-owns a nearby body shop. He tells the Dispatch he heard about 15 gunshots and saw “a bunch of little kids” trying to run from the car.

"and it was not known whether any bystanders were hit by the gunfire."

Pretty casual treatment of this shootout, maybe they should toughen those lax California gun laws

http://www.foxnews.com/us/2016/03/08/police-search-for-suspect-in-kansas-quadruple-homicide.html?intcmp=trending

The man being hunted by police in connection with a quadruple homicide on Monday night is now suspected in the death of a fifth man on Tuesday.

Officials said Pablo Serrano-Vitorino, who may be armed with an AK-47, may be responsible for the shooting death of a 49-year-old Missouri man in his Montgomery County home, ABC17 reported. The murder occurred near where Serrano-Vitorino abandoned his pickup truck.

Montgomery County schools were on lockdown Tuesday.

Officials said Serrano-Vitorino, 36, was a neighbor of the four men shot and killed on Monday, according to FOX4. Authorities said he was believed to be at the Kansas City, Kan. house when the shooting unfolded.

Three men were dead when police arrived at the residence around 11 p.m. Monday, and a fourth, found on the porch, died later from his injuries. One of the men was able to place the initial phone call to police. The identities of those killed have not been released.

Cops found Serrano-Vitorino’s red 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck abandoned in Missouri on Tuesday, shortly before discovering the body of the Montgomery County man.

He's a disenfranchised immigrant. if he were given the benefits that he deserves, he wouldn't need to kill
