KABC-TV in Los Angeles has a fully certified, calibrated, Seismograph in its studio and after 6 small earthquakes today, that seismograph is "quivering" like never before. In fact, it has not stopped quivering for several hours, indicating there is ongoing movement underground.
The six small earthquakes took place just east of the I-15, and just north of Route 60, the Pomona Freeway, as shown on the map below provided by the United States Geological Survey (USGS):

Viewers can see the LIVE image from the seismograph, which is broadcast by KABC-TV 24 hours a day at the link below, and will be able to tell for themselves that something "isn't right."
Is "a big one" coming? There's really no way to tell.
Should people take action to prepare for an earthquake? Not a bad idea. Things like topping-off your car's gas tank, making sure your propane gas for a barbecue grill is full. Having a supply of fresh water, (1/2 gallon per person, per day for 14 days is a good start); having canned foods like meat, vegetables., fruits -WITH A MANUAL CAN OPENER- can't hurt. Having a supply of medicine you NEED is a good idea. Having a battery-powered radio extra clothes and blankets for sleeping outside in case your home is not stable, can't hurt either.
Should people evacuate? NO. Not unless or until local authorities say so.
