The liberals are having a field day with it.
We all know how liberals view abortion and human life. If a liberal is on her way to abort her fetus and you have an accident with her car, killing the fetus, it now becomes a baby and she will sue your pants off.
I'm pro-life by the way...
Question for pro-lifers
Should a women be punished for killing/murdering her new born baby?
Should a women be punished for killing her 9 month old fetus?
What about an 8 month old fetus?
6?
5?
4?
2?

As I understand it, he was asked if it is against the law to abort, should a woman be punished for abortion...
Now IMO if a law exists, it is necessary to uphold it and punish the perpetrator, if she breaks it. It really is the same things if someone immigrates illegally. Without a consequence for breaking the law, the law is pointless. If someone thinks a law is wrong they should work to abolish it through the legislators, arguing it should be without consequence to break some of the laws that one disagrees with is ridiculous!

Chris said "if you say it's against the law, or it's murder, you should have to deal with it under the law...should abortion be punished?"
Under that pretext, yes, it should be punished.
If this does not go with conservative views like the republicans say, please someone, tell me what conservative views are?
I hope we find out.
Edit: I was watching the 5 on Fox and the general consensus with conservatives is, if abortion is against the law and it's considered murder, the women should not be punished. I guess women are not equal under laws?

Some things are better left up to God, man's law does not have to seek out every dark crevace on the planet.
You're all atheists.

He really should've said, "Although I think abortion is wrong and I'm opposed to abortion, we cannot legislate morality."

I thought they were talking about illegal abortions. Wouldn't there already be laws for that? If so he's just saying, enforce them. Like you would someone who was spying or selling their office, both against the law but apparently not enforced.

On ABC oz this morning they were saying it was a miracle how "both sides of the abortion debate have closed ranks and catagorically denounced Trumps remarks". That this marks the downward spiral of his campaign and its a point of no return; that he cannot come back from this. Amazing, the Cahtolic church and the Pope have been saying something similar for nigh on two thousand years, but because Trump said it the sky is falling.
They were also saying a couple of weeks back that Trump supporters are a dying class, that Trumps campaign is the last cry for a dying culture and generation. Its almost as if they are willing white middle class males to die. Stupid Australians, failing to realise this is the same attitude the elites have for them, yet here they all are jeering Trump and his supporters in the most derogatory tones I've ever heard. EVERY. LAST. ONE. OF. THEEM and on both sides of the political divide. Its pathetic.
I asked some of them what they disliked so much about Trump, none of them could actually articulate a single meaningful point, they just paroted some media talking points which I then disected and showed to be empty and meaningless, they were left stunned. I simply said sometimes it pays to think through what you're being told instead of just repeating empty slogans. Funny sh!t. ;D

This little dust up demonstrates why I gave up on the Republican party for good in '08. For six straight years, they had held the white house, both houses of congress and a pretty good chance in the supreme court. They did nothing about abortion. For decades, abortion was their Pavlov's bell for Christians. When we put them in power, they betrayed us.
Now, a candidate has the nerve to make the logical connection that if abortion is indeed murder, it should be punished. The Republicans join the Democrats in attacking him.
This will end up being a brilliant move by Trump. He was shaky with evangelical Christians, so he drew a line in the sand and forced the establishment to show their true colors.

They made the question essentially impossible to answer in a way no-one would be able to answer without anyone getting upset. And because it was put to Trump almost everyone found something in it to get upset about. They might as well have asked him if he has stopped beating up his wife... Yes or No?

Same here both in Sweden and Turkey. Most here seems to think he is an idiot, but I realize people have been told to think this way. One thing that made the rounds on social media lately was that 'Trump dislikes muslims because he said "they murdered Jesus"', something a simple google search showed originated from a satire site. I am so sick and tired of peoples breathtaking stupidity I generally don't even bother to counter it. Most are at a level where they deserve to die of starvation in nuclear winter.

Wow. No one is talking about Trump pushing Chris Matthew on his Catholic religion. Matthew is a fraud.
