Reddit apparently has a kind of Government Canary indicator which when removed is supposed to indicate that they have been approached by the Feds to provide information or surveillence access to their site. This might include specific user information.

This Canary indicator was incorporated into their site T&C's. The idea is to remove it when approached by the Feds.

The indicator has been removed.

A Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) agent was able to locate and identify Pena as the owner of a computer offering to participate in the receipt of child pornography movies through a peer-to-peer network.
