Not satisfied with two terms as president of the United States, President Obama is now angling to exert influence over the next four years by using federal tax dollars to launch a new effort to try and stop Donald Trump from becoming the next U.S. president.
According to The Daily Caller (http://dailycaller.com/2016/03/28/obama-admin-funds-blitz-to-naturalize-anti-trump-voters/),the Obama administration is using tax dollars to fund several non-profit immigration activist groups that are launching a massive drive to convert green card-holding immigrants into voting citizens.
The administration’s Networks for Integrating New Americans initiative is an effort to cooperate with the immigration rights activist group named National Partnership for New Americans. This group has frequently denounced Donald Trump’s “hateful rhetoric” on immigration.

On its Facebook page, the group says its goal is to convince legal resident aliens to become citizens because they “have the potential to change America’s electorate.” These are the same people that helped shut down Trump’s Chicago rally by using violence, intimidation, and property damage.
The group is now using tax dollars to reach out to resident illegal immigrants to convince them to quickly begin the citizenship process in order to be eligible to vote in November.
This isn’t the only government agency attempting to interfere in the upcoming election for president. Earlier this month it was reported that the country of Mexico is hosting citizenship seminars in Mexican consulate facilities all across the U.S. in an effort to turn Mexican nationals into dual Mexican/American citizens so Mexicans can vote in the U.S. election (http://www.westernjournalism.com/exposed-mexico-has-a-startling-plan-to-influence-the-u-s-election-the-mexican-consulate-will/).

Even though Mexican officials feigned disinterest in influencing America’s presidential election, the Washington Post reported (http://washpost.bloomberg.com/Story?docId=1376-O456J56KLVS301-6JQ1U6POTQL97L0LIHOE2INCGN)that Mexican diplomats are working overtime, assisting immigrants to gain U.S. citizenship so they can exercise voting rights in the U.S.
“This is a historic moment where the Mexican consulate will open its doors to carry out these types of events in favor of the Mexican community,” Adrian Sosa, a spokesman for the consulate in Chicago, said on March 19 (http://washpost.bloomberg.com/Story?docId=1376-O456J56KLVS301-6JQ1U6POTQL97L0LIHOE2INCGN). 250 permanent residents attended the Mexican consulate’s first “citizenship clinic” in Dallas, Texas, in February and another 150 went to a similar session in March. Another session hosted by Mexican officials in Las Vegas saw 500 participants.
The efforts by the Mexican government and Obama’s administration come during a campaign season rife with controversy over Donald Trump’s stance on illegal immigration and the wall on the southern U.S. border he wants to expand. An influx of new voters could turn the tide in what many expect to be a close election this year.
“About 12 million Mexicans live in the U.S., and almost half lack legal status, according to a November study by the Pew Research Center. About 2.7 million legal Mexican permanent residents of the U.S. are eligible to apply to become citizens, according to The New Americans Campaign, a nonpartisan group that helps people access naturalization services,” reported the Washington Post. Even though Mexican officials feigned disinterest in influencing America’s presidential election, the Washington Post reported (http://washpost.bloomberg.com/Story?docId=1376-O456J56KLVS301-6JQ1U6POTQL97L0LIHOE2INCGN)that Mexican diplomats are working overtime, assisting immigrants to gain U.S. citizenship so they can exercise voting rights in the U.S.
“This is a historic moment where the Mexican consulate will open its doors to carry out these types of events in favor of the Mexican community,” Adrian Sosa, a spokesman for the consulate in Chicago, said on March 19 (http://washpost.bloomberg.com/Story?docId=1376-O456J56KLVS301-6JQ1U6POTQL97L0LIHOE2INCGN). 250 permanent residents attended the Mexican consulate’s first “citizenship clinic” in Dallas, Texas, in February and another 150 went to a similar session in March. Another session hosted by Mexican officials in Las Vegas saw 500 participants.
The efforts by the Mexican government and Obama’s administration come during a campaign season rife with controversy over Donald Trump’s stance on illegal immigration and the wall on the southern U.S. border he wants to expand. An influx of new voters could turn the tide in what many expect to be a close election this year.
“About 12 million Mexicans live in the U.S., and almost half lack legal status, according to a November study by the Pew Research Center. About 2.7 million legal Mexican permanent residents of the U.S. are eligible to apply to become citizens, according to The New Americans Campaign, a nonpartisan group that helps people access naturalization services,” reported the Washington Post.
