We need a new cable news station

I've been thinking of this for a while. Who would be the best to run a new unbiased conservative news station to replace the corrupt elite owned Fox News.
When this election is over, I'll never watch Fox again.

So my thoughts are and I plan on writing, to promote Matt Drudge for starting a new cable news to compete with the washed-up Fox.
We need someone that will report honestly and truth. Drudge has the highest following of conservatives on the internet.

Trump speaks very highly of Matt Drudge, maybe he would invest in this endeavor?

There's plenty of talent out there and some of the hanger-ons could be poached from Fox, like Andrea, Eric, Sean, both Judge Napolitano and Jeanine, Martha, Ana.
Also Laura Ingraham and Ann Coulter.

We really do need a fair and balanced network, completely opposite of the cesspool of neocons and liberals that Fox has now.

Doesn't matter who starts a cable news network. It will never take off the ground when the government can refuse to grant the person / company wanting to start it a broadcasting license.

Yep, pretty ironic isn't it? I just looked into the process of starting my own media company, and the process of getting an FCC license is ridiculous. Without it they'll shut you down before you even have a chance to report on any news.

Conservatives are SICK AND TIRED of FOX News Channel’s constant bashing of Donald Trump.

You’d expect this from the liberal media but FOX News today is the most anti-Trump channel on cable news.

The viewers aren’t stupid. They’ve noticed.
In February Brand Index reported that trust in FOX News network had dropped nearly 50% since January.

And it’s only gotten worse.

It’s one thing to endorse a candidate – It’s quite another to give 90% of your air time to Trump bashers.
This goes on ALL DAY LONG.

Viewers are sick of it.

From the time you turn on the TV in the morning – to their last show at night you are inundated with Trump haters, Trump bashers and anti-Trump segments.
If it’s not the host, it’s the majority of the guests.

Sean Hannity and Greta Van Susteren are fair. Bill O’Reilly gives double segments to Trump basher Krauthammer and then wonders why the Trump campaign cancels an interview the next night. Hello?

Once in awhile, FOX News will mix things up and invite a Conservative Trump-basher to debate a liberal Trump-basher.
Now, that is a real crowd pleaser!

Or, they’ll invite Charles Krauthammer to come on and bash Trump and follow that up with a special Megyn Kelly segment of Michelle Fields’ hoax attack with sidekick Ben Shapiro.

As Piers Morgan said, “The idea that you watch that video and anyone with a brain thinks that that is some kind of assault or battery they’re living in cloud cukoo land…”

But FOX News is still spreading the lie that Michelle Fields was assaulted.
It’s a lie but it hurts Trump. So they’ll keep airing it.
What crap.

Trump supporters are forced to turn the channel or mute the sound.
If there was another channel out there that gave Donald Trump a fair shake they would steal half of FOX’s audience.

The Blaze is one option but Glenn Beck is too busy preaching, praying and holding revivals with the Anointed One.
If NewsMax went Pro-Trump they would steal half of the FOX audience in one month.

There’s a market out there for disgruntled FOX-News-watching Trump supporters.
Somebody smart should get on it and save the Trump supporters from the dreadful FOX News network.

You might want to sit down for this one: A new poll is out, and it looks like most Americans don't like Republican frontrunner Donald Trump.

Yes, hard as it is to believe, the Associated Press-GfK poll released Thursday finds that around 70 percent of adults have an unfavorable view of the man who wants to Make America Great Again, including majorities of men, women, young adults, older adults, conservatives, moderates, liberals, whites, blacks, and Hispanics.

Even constituencies The Donald is counting on to win the Republican nomination and the general election don't like him. His unfavorable numbers approach 70 percent in the south and stand at 55 percent among whites without a college education.

Nearly half of Republican voters view him unfavorably, while more than 60 percent of registered voters and 31 percent of Republicans said they definitely would not vote for him in the general election.

Still more shockingly, this is the second national poll in about as many weeks to find that the man with the best words does not have the best public image: A Bloomberg poll released in late March found that Trump was less popular than Congress, with 68 percent viewing him unfavorably and 53 percent "very unfavorably." Sad!

I've known we've needed a REAL Libertarian leaning news channel for a while. All you had to do was see how Ron Paul was basically lampooned by "conservative" and "liberal" news channels when he ran.

The key is getting a broadcasting license approved. None of us are Billionaires with connections in high places in order to get that type of company up and running. So the chances of it happening are slim to none. The media knows they have a stranglehold on the content they force feed you. The plus side is that media ratings have been in the toilet for all providers for over a decade now.

imo, if the current channels remain and you're trying to launch a new network, people aren't going to switch to it. they might if it's not too far leaning for them but in the most part I think you'd be preaching to the converted listener already.

cast on the net. Get your self some handy cams, some overlay software, some screen grab and produce your own news. Put it out there on the casting sites. YT is probably only useful for putting up recorded stuff but it could be primers, fast fact type vids.
