I never thought Jim was a gold pumper. He always seemed to have some good economic analysis. However the economy is still dragging itself along the bottom of the abyss and you can only talk about the pending collapse for so long unless your name is Gerald.

I never expected any 1929 style event where in 3 or 4 days all the money is gone. I expected a slow bleeding out. After all it's more fun that way.

There certainly are a lot of spruikers out there. I stopped listening to most years ago but I don''t have anything negative on Jim or Marc. I think Bill Still is a good commentator (haven't seen hiss tuff in ages, until a couple days ago. Then there is that guy who used to be the Auditor, the one who was never able to sign off on the US accounts. Can't remember his name. Sports a Bow Tie. Maybe his name is Grant or something.

The only reason he mentions 10,000 plus is that if they wish to back the printed money with gold then that is what will have to happen.

He makes it sound as if its baked in the cake and basically will happen, I dont see anything that remarkable for gold to be at 10000 an ounce.

He also states that it wont be gold that is 10000 an oz but that the dollar will be worth one 10000th of an ounce of gold.
