Merle Haggard RIP

Died yesterday on his 79th birthday.

My favorite quote by him:

played with merle and went backstage at a few shows . my dad knew him well , when he had time an in town he would come by dad shop and we all play some tunes then we would go for a ride dad always had a loaner for merle , for the life of me stuff been coming back from the days gone by from the time I heard he passed on . thinking about my dad and guys he knew that are gone now... got the guitar out tonight and played a few of his tunes
