LOL That's hilarious. That gets me thinking. Could I take out unsecured debt (i.e. credit card) pay my taxes with, make the minimum payment? When the free interest period expires roll it over to a new credit card with a new introductory interest free period, then keep paying "my fair share" and once I accumulate a massive amount of debt, just cancel the card and claim bankruptcy.

Repeat the process again every 7 years filing bankruptcy while having the credit card companies paying my taxes.

Sounds like a good Goldman Sachs inspired business plan to me. :)

If you have bad marks NO you can't take on a new card. Just looked at my credit and the 7 year mark is completely false. There is crap from 12-15 years ago lingering in there. When they falsely foreclosed on me they took all my credit to hell even though everything (except the mortgage) was paid to date.

They also told me I couldn't sell because it wasn't a short sale. Worth at the time was 120K they sold at 170K I owed 97k so I lose. at least I found a place to go.
