Well, they will pay only $500.00 for tree removal and clean up......so......I will have them place all the tree in a open area and then sell them for the clean up and more. House insure for $160,000 and adjuster will come in a couple of days.....oh yeah, I have a $500.00 deductible......I can see a money war ahead......more to come.

Thanks buddy, they came this morning with three umongus (big) machines and seven guys........and they just finish... I though that it would take a least three days but they did it in HALF A DAY....... they still have three more places to go to. The insurance company would not pay to take out the roots of the trees, the wood guy suggested to just let the grass grow over them and forget about it.
I'll have to hire some guys to finish the details and the insurance adjuster wil come in a couple of days......just wait and see.

Well, they finish cleaning the place, more or less, and I just found out that everything has tilted, the doors wont close and it means that everything is screw up.......the garage itself is inclining about two degrees, the door to one of my storage unit is broken.....water pump not working..........I am going to record my conversation with the adjuster. On Wednesday I have to go to the VA so that I have my doors fixed, if nothing else........lucky for me the windows did not brake. More bu bu bu later.

I lost a sunroom off the back of the house during one of the last hurricanes to hit Florida. [fingers crossed for another eventless year]. They tried to call it a "pool enclosure" and short me about 15k. Tried to get me to arbitrate it. Finally coughed up the 20k to rebuild.
Watch em' real close.

I've always been confused about insurance.
If I have a motorcar insurance policy and I'm involved in a bingle, the insurance company goes to the other drivers insurance and asks for the money. If the other driver has no insurance, they go after the driver. To the point of suing the driver for injury or damages.
If it was an accident, then it was an accident. No deliberate injury. Why would they demand the other driver pay. Surely I am pooling funds, ponzi scheme like, with other drivers and we can all claim costs incurred against the fund. Ponzi is a lot like Tontine in many ways.
So the point being, why should the other driver pay because the insurance company can't run a business properly. I never quite understand it. That being said, company insurance coverage is the most important thing I deal with year on year. I put more effort into it than any other thing I do as part of my job. I don't dare have even the slightest sliver of exposure. It literally takes 1/12 of the years effort. A full month is devoted to it each year at 100% focus. I do nothing else for that 1 month but negotiate the various business insurances.

The guy just left...... he says the total payment will be around $13,500, not counting down the trees and the emergency repairs....next, I have to find me a contractor........I think that I got me one......more on all this in a few days hahahhah.
