I didn't see either of those in the video. Only some rocks and what look like lakes and some ice. No compass bearings or anything like that. And as I was not on the aircraft (plane) I can't be sure of where they are.

Those images sort of match descriptions Byrd apparently wrote of what he saw from the air but they may have been selected from other sources and used to dramatic affect.

I don't know what that means specifically? lumps of it just laying around or did they dig a few holes. If there is coal then there were trees there in the past. If there is coal in seams then there will be gas.

Byrd said there were many other resources. Uranium. Some one credits him with saying precious things, I can't recall if gemstones or metals.

It reduces the parastic drain - the interest charges. Paying more of the interest with the fixed pool of notes would mean less notes to pay the principle. Paying less interest would mean more of the pool of notes could go to the principle.

I guess that assumes that the Debtor would use the notes not going to interest to pay principle and there is nothing to say they have to or do.
