A teacher's aide at Bay View High School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, has been arrested after a physical altercation with a 14-year-old student.
Video taken during a ninth grade biology class shows the 39-year-old teacher's aide exchange words with the student.
Suddenly, the man pushes the student onto a desk, then holds him by his neck and pushes him to the floor.
Milwaukee Public Schools spokeswoman Denise Callaway said that as soon as school administrators were made aware of the incident, the aide was removed from the classroom and the Milwaukee Police Department was contacted.
The staff member was arrested for alleged physical abuse of a child, according to police.
The student was treated at a local hospital for minor injuries.
