As I really don't like stepping in brown goo or disgusting puddles I propose that the only criterion to using a restroom is that you need to do #1 or #2.

I have seen women use mens room when there is a line at the womens.

I have seen men uses womens room when it is not being used and the mens is being monopolized.

I have even seen a father bring his little girl into the MENs room (perhaps he checked first).

You want to know what trips my trigger? They call them MENs or WOMENs. Why not MAN or WOMAN? Single occupancy cures all ills. The HyVee grocery stores here (at least one that I know of) has gone to private cubicles although they still label them MEN or WOMEN or HANDICAPPED or even FAMILY.

The only charge in this respect should be to those who can walk a few steps to use an available restroom yet choose to do #1 or #2 where I can step in it.

Some critics are visiting Target stores across the country and demanding access to bathrooms of the opposite sex to support claims that "perverts" can now gain access to children and women as a result of the policy.

Greg Locke, a pastor at Global Vision Bible Church in Tennessee, posted a video outside a Target store saying he got permission to use the women's restroom when he questioned store management.

Now, a small town in Alabama just put an end to Target’s bathroom rule.

The City Council on Tuesday made it illegal for anyone to use a public bathroom that doesn’t align with the gender they were born with.

I just checked the 10-year chart, it was at an all-time high at the time of the announcement, and I think it is ridiculous a retail chain should be valued at $50B, especially at these times. A lot of the movement could be explained by a lofty valuation any way, but pundits tend to put blame on some other factor they like to put focus on, but a 5% down movement in a week isn't that unusual...

It certainly isn't an epic collapse in any way shape or form. I owned shares in a Hong Kong real estate company 27 years ago, and the riots with crackdown at Tianinmen square happened. The first day the entire Hang Seng index dropped 30% and the next day another 23%. Real estate dropped even more. I don't remember how much, but it was an EPIC COLLAPSE!

While the letter does not have the force of law, it does warn that schools that do not abide by the administration’s interpretation of civil rights law may face lawsuits or loss of federal aid.


“No student should ever have to go through the experience of feeling unwelcome at school or on a college campus,” King said. “We must ensure that our young people know that whoever they are or wherever they come from, they have the opportunity to get a great education in an environment free from discrimination, harassment and violence.”


Under the guidance, schools are told that they must treat transgender students according to their chosen gender identity as soon as a parent or guardian notifies the district that that identity “differs from previous representations or records.” There is no obligation for a student to present a specific medical diagnosis or identification documents that reflect his or her gender identity, and equal access must be given to transgender students even in instances when it makes others uncomfortable, according to the directive.

MINNEAPOLIS — A new campaign hits the road to protest Target’s transgender bathroom and fitting room policy. This comes as the Minnesota-based company continues to reaffirm its commitment to equality and equity.
In a statement last month, Target said quote: “We welcome transgender team members and guests to use the restroom or fitting room facility that corresponds with their gender identity.”
Since then, the company’s stance has received opposition.
The new campaign targeting the company’s bathroom and fitting room policy is called “Flush Target.”
Organizers are hoping their in-your-face movement will push customers to convince Target to change its approach.
LifeSiteNews, a nonprofit internet service focused on life and family issues, teamed up with the Child Protection League for the campaign. It rolled out Monday and is on the road — literally.
As part of their fight, this billboard truck will visit all Target Stores in Minnesota.
A spokeswoman for Life Site News says a vehicle is being used to push the message because every billboard company in the state rejected the advertisement.
“The goal of our campaign is to message Target shoppers around Minnesota: Stay away from Target. Send Target a message. Don’t shop where women and children’s emotional and physical safety and privacy are under assault,” Julie Quist of the Child Protection League.
The billboard truck is expected to travel across Minnesota and visit Target stores for the next year.
Organizers say it’s possible their campaign will expand to other states down the road. The first stop is in Duluth Monday.
WCCO has yet to receive any further statements from Target on today’s newly announced campaign.

Target shares plunge as sales fall, outlook spooks Street

According to the court documents, Target claims that Turner and the three men chased the man into the store carrying baseball bats.

Target claims in its lawsuit that Turner and his friends are solely responsible for the stabbing because they failed to stop Walls from going inside.

Turner's trial is set to begin Monday, and the Meadows family, who live in Tennessee and were visiting in Pittsburgh when the attack happened, plan to make the trek to support Turner.

During his sentencing, Judge Donna Jo McDaniel criticized Target for suing Turner, noting that the mega chain store was going after the "heroes" in an attempt to make the victims back down from their lawsuit.

A New Jersey man has been arrested and accused of using a mirror secreted in a basket to look up the dresses of women at a local Target store. Ocean Township, New Jersey police charged 56-year-old Julius G. This is far from Reynolds' first brush with the law and, if convicted, would not even be his first privacy crime.
Court records indicate that Judge Paul Chaiet sentenced Reynolds to three years in jail in 2008 for observing without consent. In 2007 the Press reported that Reynolds had been arrested after a Monmouth County Wegmans surveillance camera captured him snapping pictures with his mobile phone of women's intimate parts.
Reynolds also has one credit card crime, a drug offense and a conviction for child endangerment to his name, according to court records.

Store employees declined to comment but Target CEO Brian Cornell is concerned that misunderstood pedophiles cannot peep in his stores without fear of arrest. Cornell plans to visit Reynolds and suggest Reynolds acquire some women's attire and use Target's restroom facilities for future peeping.

Brian Cornell (http://www.washingtontimes.com/topics/cornell-university/), the chairman and CEO of Target, took several questions from disgruntled audience members at the annual shareholder meeting on Wednesday concerning the retail giant’s stance on transgender bathroom and fitting room access.
Justin Danhof (http://www.washingtontimes.com/topics/justin-danhof/), who heads the Free Enterprise Project and was in attendance at the meeting, asked Mr. Cornell (http://www.washingtontimes.com/topics/cornell-university/) whether he believes those who oppose the company’s stance are bigots.
“Didn’t answer the question,” Mr. Danhof (http://www.washingtontimes.com/topics/justin-danhof/) said of the business executive’s response. “He gave a vacuous statement on, ‘We believe in diversity, we believe in inclusion, and everyone should feel safe in our stores.’”
“‘Support inclusivity, support inclusion’ – it means nothing. It’s meaningless,” he said. “Especially in response to questions asked very pointedly about do you think these people are bigots. And my impression is that of course he does.”
Several other audience members questioned the company’s position permitting access to intimate facilities on the basis of gender identity, which sparked a nationwide boycott. More than 1.3 million people signed a petition pledging not to shop at the store in response to the policy.

Almost exactly one year after Target's original pro-transgender announcement which caused a huge backlash and helped tank the company's profits over the past 12 months, the Journal reported that Target's CEO did not approve of the statement — and would not have approved it, if asked.
"Target Chief Executive Brian Cornell hadn't approved the April 19 post ... said people familiar with the episode and its aftermath at Target," the Journal's Khadeeja Safdar reported. "Mr. Cornell, 58 years old, expressed frustration about how the bathroom policy was publicized, and told colleagues he wouldn't have approved the decision to flaunt it, these people said."
"You can't take it back," an unnamed source inside Target told Safdar. The person added that Mr. Cornell "felt very stuck." According to the Journal, "Target didn't adequately assess the risk, and the ensuing backlash was self-influcted, he told staff. Now, it was too late to reverse course."
In late March of last year, North Carolina Governor Pat McCrory signed House Bill 2, a measure which repealed a Charlotte city ordinance forcing private businesses and public facilities to allow transgender people to use the bathroom of their choice. H.B. 2 repealed that measure, allowing businesses to make their own decisions and reserving public, non-single-stall restrooms to members of the same sex.
On April 19, Target issued a response to this bill (https://corporate.target.com/article/2016/04/target-stands-inclusivity), declaring that "inclusivity is a core belief at Target" and that the company supports federal legislation to provide "protections to LGBT individuals" which would fight "discrimination."
This post painted something of a target on the company's back, and the American Family Association (AMA) launched a boycott of the company, which reached over 1 million signatures (https://pjmedia.com/trending/2016/04/29/pledge-to-boycott-target-on-pro-lbgt-stance-reaches-1000000-signatures/) in one week.


In late May, Target stock took a plunge of 20 percent (https://pjmedia.com/faith/2016/05/25/franklin-graham-says-target-ceo-in-denial-over-20-percent-stock-decline-after-lgbt-stance/), and the Reverend Franklin Graham attributed the hit directly to the transgender policy. "Target stock is tumbling after they announced a pro-transgender restroom policy allowing men to use women's bathrooms and changing rooms," Graham, the president of the Billy Graham Evangelical Association, declared.
At the time, Target CEO Cornell attributed the decline to "unfavorable weather trends in the Northeast." But the losses continued.
