very topical and timely post. I think there is another very recent thread on here Serpo about Iodine - Atomic iodine and nascent or nascient iodine. So recent I went looking for some atomic iodine locally yesterday. Found some but $60 a bottle - small ear drop sized bottle.

I'm mentioning it, because I too came across some new information and I was going to try and pull a few threads together. I started a thread on someone called Hatybow. I called him HattyBov by mistake.
http://gold-silver.us/forum/showthread.php?86615-HattyBov-Russian-investigator-of-the-universe

I said in that thread Bat Shit crazy quite a few times and I am starting to regret that because the material I had read up to then appears to be a slight scratch on the surface of a very big iceberg.

I started reading some other information this person Hatybow wrote - using googl translate from Russian AND he posts about Iodine and it's importance as well. He also has some oher information on electrons that I now realise correlates with material produced by Bruce Cathi who I was writing about in my Harmonics, Animal magnetism and messmerism (http://gold-silver.us/forum/showthread.php?65285-Harmonics-animal-magnetism-and-messmerism&highlight=harmonics) thread. The search for the electron and it's strange behaviour of skipping an orbit cycle, disappearing mid orbit only to reappear some number of degrees later - as if it drops into another realm, plane or universe for part of it's rotation and then pops back into ours.

Anyway, Iodine. I'm now convinced its very important and maybe in ways we suspect but not experienced. I think it might be a higher consciouness ingredient. Thats the way I'm leaning now. Also self healing enhancer, another thing I am now convinced we have the capability for.... if we knew how.

Thanks for posting this. I was intending to make my above comments later on today and try and update my threads with what I had found in the past 24 - 48 hours of reading.

this pdf link .....http://jeffreydachmd.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/The-Guide-to-Supplementing-with-Iodine-Stephanie-Burst-ND.pdf

explains the best type of iodine to take, I ordered some of that nascent ,then found out more ,canceled the order and got Iodoral , 50 mg, which is basically same as lugols but in a pill.

Need to take 100 to 200 mcg selenium also and even vit c. iherb is good value for products

Yes you are right , it makes you feel better and more alert ect...........

I have a sneaky feeling that when they took iodine out of the bread and replaced it with bromine(interferes with iodine absorption as does a lot of things) that this is another way to fuzk us over.

This is life changing stuff.

ps .....apparently the nascent variety dosnt carry away heavy metals out of our system and thats the reason to use the other sort.......autistic kids have trouble carrying these heavy metals out as they found thru hair analysis.

Iodine is good for autism , diabetes , depression , hang on Ill paste a pdf I got some where.............

here it is below

Adult Males & Females = 150 mcg/day
Pregnancy = 220 mcg/day
Lactation = 290 mcg/day
These levels were set up to prevent goiter only without concern for other body tissue requirements.
National Health & Nutrition Survey (NHANES) showed that iodine levels in the United States
declined 50% while thyroid illness, breast, prostate, endometrial and ovarian cancers increased.
The World Health Organization (WHO) claims that an iodine deficiency is the world’s greatest single
cause of preventable mental retardation.
72% of the world’s population is affected by iodine deficiency.
Why Are We Deficient in Iodine?
Fear of using salt on medical advice, especially those with hypertension.
Less than 50% of households in United States use iodized salt.
Radioactive iodine used in diagnostic testing exacerbated an iodine-deficient state.
Exposures to chemicals and toxins. Goitrogen is a substance that decreases iodine uptake as well as inhibits iodine from
binding where it is needed. They include:
• Chlorine in pools, cleaning products, water supply, steam from dishwasher, sucrolose (Splenda).
• Fluoride in water supply, toothpaste, dental treatments, mouthwash.
• Bromide in some soft drinks (Mountain Dew & some Gatorades), baked goods (they used to contain iodine but it was
replaced with bromide in the 1970’s), pesticides, hot tubs, fumigant of produce, and some medications
• Declining mineral levels due to soil erosion and poor farming techniques.
• Failure to eat sufficient iodine-containing foods.
• A combination of any or all of these.
Iodine:
• Is essential for normal growth and development of children
• Deficiency can result in cretinism, mental deficiency, delayed physical and intellectual development and ADHD
• Elevates pH
• Is needed to produce thyroid hormones
• Prevents goiter, autoimmune thyroid conditions, thyroid and other cancers, hypothyroidism
• Is antibacterial, antiviral and antiparasitic
• Is a mucolytic agent (breaks up mucous)
Conditions Treated with Iodine
Breast Disease
Dupuytren’s Contracture
Excess Mucous Production
Fatigue
Fibrocystic Breasts
Hemorrhoids
Headaches and Migraine
Headaches
Keloids
Ovarian Cysts
Parotid Duct Stones
Peyronie’s
Sebaceous Cysts
Thyroid Disorders
Cancers (breast, ovarian, thyroid,
prostate)

Medical Iodophobia
“Medical Iodophobia is the unwarranted fear of using and recommending inorganic, non-radioactive
iodine/iodide within the range known from collective experience of three generations of clinicians to
be the safest and most effective amounts for treating symptoms and signs of iodine/iodide deficiency
(12.5-50 mg./day)” Dr. Guy Abraham, 2004

thanks Serpo. Not buying the nascent stuff seems a good decision. They did say they had other forms of it - tablet and maybe something else. I decided to leave it for the time being. I wanted to do some more research so I knew whether other forms were any good.

I'd like to support a few web sites I spend a lot of time at. I just saw an Ad for a form of Lugol's on one. Which caused me to search here, which got me back to the info you've posted. So I will take a look.

And yes I remember the bromide thing. I tried to get into making my own bread for just that reason. I bought a lot of bread flour when they were doing this. The idea being I'd grab some pre bromide flour, which I think I did.

then I got distracted and started getting my bread fresh from a bakery but I think it's all got bromide in it now. Fresh bakery doesn't mean healthier if they are just using the same base ingredients as the mass market bakeries are. I guess I need to revisit this. I've pretty much stopped eating bread this past few weeks. I have a machine but the loaves are too small. I need some real bread tins. which was a plan. To visit a catering store nearby. Seems I forget a lot of my plans.

What about the lady that was in the video if you watched it all, she had an iodine deficiency and was taking iodine for 12 months and suddenly she has problems after buying a new car which had bromine all over the steering wheel and interior. So the bromine she was picking up a lot of it , inhibited the up take of iodine in her system.

The Iodoral type , which is lugols made in to pill form , easier to take and easier on the stomach then the liquid.

50 mg size one per day , even though the japanese average 12.5mg per day ,they have been doing this their whole lives so its built up in them.

people like us require 50mg for months to be able to reach all the cells of the body.In over weight people it takes longer even.

Taken with 100 to 200 mcg selenium as it helps the iodine to absorb, some how.

I know someone that had their thyroid taken out , he was on lithium.......another iodine inhibitor..........

Bromine is everywhere , even carpets apparently , add to it other things like the chemicals in the water , all this is preventing the uptake of iodine.

This is the reason that it is basically a plot to screw over the populations by taking iodine out of bread and adding bromine which blocks absorption.

Its created huge health problems............which is good for business.......

Large amounts of VITD3 also is worth looking at ,over 50,000IU a day for some time , this taken with vit k.
