Hello stackers;

I'm very proud to announce the publication of my new silver vending website, we currently have a small inventory of silver and gold bars but as customers increase our inventory will expand rapidly. What makes us different from all the other millions of bullion vending companies is that you can negotiate all prices on our website. We are based in Maryland, and we ship for free to everywhere in the United States. Our website is still pretty new and empty, yet everyday we are updating it and adding resources to make our company better.

All criticism is valued, I'd love to hear what you guys think.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and I hope you find our website enjoyable.

Could be a married couple? Prices are pretty good, and with free shipping to boot.

Isn't there some sort of unwritten law that says PM dealers need to be jews?

You use too much flash video in your site. You need flash running just to see your wares. Also, 20 days for delivery is a non starter.

Web only contact, no hard line contact numbers, (telephone) no address?

Asking to blind buy from a business with non of the above, asking to buy using non-chump change?

I understand that they that buy from you will need a hard address/account for cash transfer. But most will not because of the above conserns, just because your site does not offer any options other than a web address and you saying you are in Maryland.

Not many would bite your offerings as things stand at this time..

I wonder what a "Google Verified Business" (bottom of that ^ product page) means?

https://www.google.com/search?q=%22Google+Verified+Business%22 《《 search result previews suggest it has to do with getting mailed a post card ???

^ I was thinking about checking that too, in light of dogman's reply #8, half expecting it to be DomainsByProxy...

At a minimum I'd think about putting up a pro-looking youtube introducing themselves & their place of biz.

Or given strattonorbis' apparent shoestring circumstance, just sticking with being an ebay seller. :)

^ yeah but I expect strattonorbis is home based, not even rental mailbox much less brick/mortar storefront.

I hate to say coz I admire entrepreneurial spunk; but in its current state, strattonorbis' biz model is a non-starter.

Stratton you should invite a 3rd party to escrow dollar transfer on that German Buffalo Bar until it arrives at the customers door.

Tell them to send to my 3rd party paypal firstly...

Actually there are reputable bullion dealers out there who don't have a storefront of any kind, yet have run an honest successful business for many years.

Not that i disbelieve you, but who are some examples; not ebay sellers but those dealers who have dedicated websites as their sole venue for transactions?

Your word "reputable" is the biggest hurdle strattonorbis faces.

Your word "reputable" is the biggest hurdle strattonorbis faces. In my region there is Montana Rarities. He's been around 7 years with no problems that I know of.
If you sell bullion out of your home, you don't really want everyone knowing where you live. You might get a midnight visit.
If you have a storefront you have a lot of overhead that has to be passed on to customers.
Also, not only have some of the reputable storefront dealers become disreputable, but many of the supposedly reputable storefront dealers are Jews pretending to have much more inventory than they really have for the purpose of keeping prices low.

In any case, I wouldn't let ANY of them store metal for me. Don't buy all your metal in one purchase by mail. I try to buy in person and take possession immediately.
