http://insider.foxnews.com/2016/05/13/trump-denies-posing-spokesman-john-miller-john-barron-phone-calls-reporters

The Washington Post reported (https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/donald-trump-alter-ego-barron/2016/05/12/02ac99ec-16fe-11e6-aa55-670cabef46e0_story.html) this morning that Donald Trump posed as a spokesman for himself in phone calls with reporters decades ago.
Reporters who covered Trump in the 70s, 80s and 90s say they would often hear from Trump's spokesman, "John Miller" or "John Barron."
The Post reports that the voice was actually Trump, releasing a 1991 audio recording of one call between "John Miller" and Sue Carswell, a People magazine reporter covering Trump's marital affairs.
At one point, Miller discussed why Trump was so concerned with coverage by the media.
The Post reported:

“I can tell you that he didn’t care if he got bad PR until he got his divorce finished,” Miller said.
[...]
Carswell this week recalled that she immediately recognized something familiar in the Queens accent of Trump’s new publicist. She thought, “It’s so weird that Donald hired someone who sounds just like him.” After the 20-minute interview, she walked down the hall to play the tape to co-workers, who identified Trump’s voice. Carswell then called Cindy Adams, the longtime New York Post gossip columnist who had been close to Trump since the early 1970s. Adams immediately identified the voice as Trump’s.

In an interview on NBC this morning, Trump denied that it was his voice on the recording.
"No, I don't know anything about it. You're telling me about it for the first time and it doesn't sound like my voice at all," he said (http://www.today.com/news/donald-trump-denies-posing-spokesman-recordings-washington-post-uncovered-t92421).
Trump questioned whether it was "one of the many scams" in which people try to imitate his voice.

On America's Newsroom this morning (video above), Martha MacCallum discussed the new report with Fox News Sunday host Chris Wallace.
Wallace said the voice definitely does sound like Trump, calling it a "weird deal." He also said he doubts that it matters much to the presidential race.
"People understand that about Trump. He's not a conventional politician, hasn't led a conventional life. I think they're more interested in what he stands for and says today than what he was doing back in 1991," said Wallace.
The report comes after it was revealed that the Washington Post has 20 reporters assigned to investigate Trump's past. Trump said his campaign is fielding many "ridiculous calls" from the paper.

On Hannity last night, Trump blasted Jeff Bezos, the Amazon CEO who purchased the Post in 2013.
"This is owned as a toy by Jeff Bezos, who controls Amazon. Amazon is getting away with murder tax-wise. He’s using the Washington Post for power so that the politicians in Washington don’t tax Amazon like they should be taxed," said Trump.
He argued that Bezos is "worried" that Trump, as president, would go after him for antitrust violations.
"He's got a huge antitrust problem because he's controlling so much."

 Trump was doing some serious media damage control at that time. I don't blame him at all. Clever actually...

Recently, the Daily Beast—citing Harry Hurt III’s Donald Trump biography Lost Tycoon: The Many Lives of Donald J. Trump—unearthed (http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2015/07/27/ex-wife-donald-trump-made-feel-violated-during-sex.html) a courtroom deposition by Ivana Trump, Trump’s ex wife, describing a rape that occurred during the couple’s marriage in the early nineties. Immediately prior to the release of Lost Tycoon (back in 1993), Ivana Trump softened her accusations and today she has released a statement, calling the Daily Beast’s marital rape claim “totally without merit.”...

“I have recently read some comments attributed to me from nearly 30 years ago at a time of very high tension during my divorce from Donald. The story is totally without merit,” she says (http://www.usmagazine.com/celebrity-news/news/donald-trumps-ex-wife-ivana-fights-back-against-rape-report-2015287), adding...

The liberal media is trying to take the spotlight away from Trump with this cockamamie story. They are succeeding at the moment by putting Trump people on the defense about this silliness. Trump needs to get his ass back out on the road and do some rallies. He needs to be attacking and making outlandish statements on Hillary's past crimes.

Obama smoked rope when it was (and still is) unlegal to do so. Trump uses an alias and commits no crime at all.

They got divorced? Wow, shocker. She aged pretty bad and wouldn't look good next to him, besides she is now really gross looking. Not necessarily phisically but I am a good judgement of character of looks. She looks very decietful.

I'm guessing you mean Trump had to play the game to get along in the multi-dollar real estate business?
I'm sure Trump had dealings with the mafia too. Don't know about today but, up until the 90's, you didn't build shit in NY without mob approval.
I've spent my life in construction, I had to act like I liked some people to get things done. One thing I stuck by regarding employers, I wouldn't work for anyone I didn't respect. I didn't stay long with anyone I didn't respect.

By now everyone is aware of the fact that there is little love lost between Donald Trump and Jeff Bezos (http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2016-05-13/biggest-threat-jeff-bezos-and-amazon-president-trump).

A day after Trump blasted Bezos in an interview (http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2016-05-13/biggest-threat-jeff-bezos-and-amazon-president-trump) with Sean Hannity, Washington Post released a tape (https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/donald-trump-alter-ego-barron/2016/05/12/02ac99ec-16fe-11e6-aa55-670cabef46e0_story.html), allegedly from a 1991 interview, where it alleges Trump was pretending to be a spokesman for himself. All of this is within the scope of today's political games that get played of course, but the question is did the reality tv star just take things to a new level by leaking the tape and creating a brand new news cycle?

Recall, Donald Trump's campaign convention manager Paul Manafort said (http://thehill.com/blogs/ballot-box/gop-primaries/279463-manafort-gop-convention-will-be-ultimate-reality-show) that the race to the presidency is the ultimate reality show for Trump:

Fast forward to the debacle that took place yesterday, where the Washington Post absolutely hammered Trump for allegedly pretending to be a spokesman named "John Miller" in an interview with a People magazine reporter just so Trump could brag about himself and set some things straight with the media.

Trump claims he didn’t regularly use a fake name. That’s not what he said under oath https://t.co/B2xzRiHDVy
— Washington Post (@washingtonpost) May 13, 2016
(https://twitter.com/washingtonpost/status/731213187496939520)

However, here is the twist: Sue Carswell, the People magazine reporter who can be heard on the tape with the "spokesman", swears (http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2016/05/14/people-magazine-reporter-claims-trump-leaked-john-miller-tape-to-the-washington-post/) she didn't leak the tape to anyone. As a matter of fact, she said she doesn't even know where the tape is, and assumes it got trashed when moving apartments years ago. Carswell claims the only other person who could have possibly had that recording was... drum roll... Donald Trump.

While nobody knows for certain whether or not it was actually Trump on the other end of that recording, it probably wouldn't surprise anyone to find out that it was The Donald himself - that master of media redirection - who leaked the tape to the Washington Post. After all, he had just created a buzz by saying Bezos was out to get him by any means necessary (http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2016-05-13/biggest-threat-jeff-bezos-and-amazon-president-trump), and what better way to solidify that than with a "leaked" tape that the Washington Post would clearly run with. Also, with the news out that Trump would be the first presidential candidate not to disclose tax returns in 40 years (http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2016-05-11/romney-cries-bombshell-after-trump-becomes-first-candidate-40-years-not-disclose-tax), why not create a fresh news cycle to take the public's mind off of that little nuisance.
The Donald may have just masterfully played the entire media universe for fools.
Again.

He's the patent holder of the game, "get along" isn't doing him justice, he wholly plowed the original path for corporate disregard in the U.S.

Way back when it were "Great" of course.

Oh but u can't touch him there cause he were doing everything "Legally" !!

Its patent stupidity to try and "dig up dirt" on someone that is mostly compromised from dirt.

Someone who stays out of the way, and only executes those who perform actions that were deemed not beneficial to the party as a whole.

This does Not include sniffing peoples butt holes and supposing on one way or another that criminality might occur based upon track records or negative feedback, making nice neat hampster walls for their flock to operate within sctrict boundries, tiny paragraphs bylines in the patriot act or bibles, thus removing themselves from their Administrative duties by "passing their buck" and responsibility as an Administrator.

What you're getting in Trump is a liberal administrator who is convinced everyone is a great guy no matter how dispicable or unsuitable. Nobody will be truly fired, just dealt with through legal procees of feedback poles-n-loopholes.

Or a dirtball for President.

‘US Republican mega-donor and hard-line Zionist Sheldon Adelson will be contributing more than ever to help presumptive GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump get elected in November, a report says.

Adelson told Trump in a private meeting last week that he was willing to spend $100 million for his presidential campaign, two Republicans with direct knowledge of the casino mogul’s commitment, told the New York Times. The report was published on Friday.

Adelson has decided to significantly scale back on his donations to the congressional Republicans to boost Trump’s chances of being elected, the report said.’
