With a crew of 2,100 from 77 countries, the floating city boasts seven 'neighbourhoods', a 10-storey slide that is the tallest at sea, 23 swimming pools, 20 dining venues, 52 trees, surf simulators, robot bartenders, a casino and climbing walls.
 not many life boats in the above photo for 8,880 passengers and crew

I've never seen lifeboats as big as those either. They seem to be two story, double decker, lifeboats. These new cruise ships also have DP technology, dynamic positioning, with uses a computer to control bow and stern thrusters, and main propulsion. I bet that 1100 foot cruise ship can dock itself. No assist boats needed. They don't even drop anchor anymore, they use DP to stay positioned in the anchorage so they don't damage any coral or bottom structure with anchors. Computer controlled, thrusters, just keep the ship there on spot...

It doesn't look capable of cross ocean cruising just coastal, I bet it's a flat bottom sea sick vessel. Still, that's one big son of a bitch, I'd hate to have to clean the thing...

LOL, each of those lifeboats holds 370 people. Imagine 370 people stuffed into one of those things...There is 18 of them so, that's 6,660 passengers. Apparently the crew gets inflatable life rafts.

The lifeboats look like the Whittakers we had when I worked on offshore platforms. If each of those floors is about the standard 8 feet, the lifeboats can't be more than 10 feet tall keel to roof. I can't envision them holding more than 37 people each.
There is no way I would spend money to go on a cruise. You can bet they're cesspools of depravity, with rampant homosexuality and race mixing.

Check out the people on the bow of the ship for perspective. Those lifeboats have to be 12 feel plus tall, probably 40 feet long. They have to be double decker, people packed in like rats. I can't imagine 370 people though.
I think the whittaker ones are those we were trained in as well. 20 feet maybe. They had lister diesels.

They had lister diesels. The Whittakers we had were Farryman diesels (English), V2 and V4 configuration air-cooled converted to closed system water cooled. Much lighter than Listers, more suitable for a lifeboat. They had hand-crank and electric start with a Twin-Disc type forward and reverse box. For oilfield use they had an auxilliary sea-water pump and sprinkler system to keep the roof wet when there was flaming oil/condensate on top of the water.

Sound a lot like the ones we trained on. Not sure how far back you go with them, but my training was about 3 years ago, and they also have a compressed air system along with the fire sprinkler system. They are fully self contained.

Yes it is perfect. They can park it in the shores in the center of Stockholm or Oslo, so the rapefugees can go clubing! It has been a problem to integrate central Stockholm with the immigrants, since there are no available rental apartments there, and the social democrats fought long and hard for rental rights, so real estate owners or the government can't just throw out the old pensioner renters on the street to house the New Swedes, even if they want to.
This miracle sent from god would solve the problem until the law re Rental rights is changed in favor of shitskins!
