The business man in me sees a wee flaw in their plan. I don't think $6 per hour per robot ($144 per day; $4644 per month) is going the cover losses due to vandalism. These units look be cost (wild guess) $50,000+ to manufacture. Not to mention staff to service these units in the field, and inventory depreciating as the technology improves. I suspect these units will become irresistable bait to the more reckless of us.

This is definitely freaky and my instincts are screaming bad idea.
