I'm ok here, that's over and up in cheese country, nothing more than some slippery silica on the porch.
Same thing happened last year about this same time, this ash is darker though.
The enviroment appears as a black velvet Elvis painting, the colored lights get brighter. :)

Get yourself indoors and run a quality air filter in the house 24/7. The ultrafine particulates in the air are incredibly toxic. Modern medicine is beginning to discover the importance of long term exposure to ultrafine particulates and risk of developing cardiovascular and pulmonary disease. I use a Honeywell HFD filter and I think the design is brilliant and effective.

a yearly dosage hear i would equate to a week in any U. S. suburbs automobile break dust inhalation

From what I understand he is abt 40 or so miles from it!
As the buzzard fly's if and when they fly in a straight line.
And not take a circular rout, as Horn is famous for!
