In the old days a watermelon with no seeds was very expensive......well....today at Wallys one with seeds was more expensive than one with out them...are they telling us something?..........are we getting closer to that day when nothing will have seeds so that you can no longer have your own garden?........... no small change in our modus operandi is to small for me not to notice and every change means something that will affect our future........ so, I am putting more seeds in my inventory, and so should you.

don't they tell you that the seeds are irradiated so they won't grow? That is the universal belief down here.

The watermelons with seeds are way sweeter and more delicious. That is why they are more expensive. I get some pretty good seedless ones here that are grown the Bay City area. It is a rare thing to find a decent seedless watermelon.

Apparently everything coming across the border into the USi is irradiated. Not sure if it will stop seeds from germinating though.

VBetter germinate those seeds next year and google the time they need to be in cold temp and at what temp and then set them aside or they'll will drastically reduce in number to be able to germinate.
They are practically worthless after two years. Most wont germinate.
