When you use depositors' money for free without telling them, a 3% return is a pretty good deal (for the banks), even considering all the expected losses.

Hey Puke?.....thanks for posting the whole thing, I didn't see it........ that 630 for a credit rating is bullshit, they better have something else to back it up. Frak? the back would make money NO MATTER WHAT...do you think they are stupid?

After looking over the options, I used a 3% FHA loan for my place...

Got to keep some bucks for home upgrades then made some double payments. Refinanced 2- 1/2 years later and got my mortgage down to $625.00 month

A mortgage is a JUDGMENT OF GOD and you're bragging about this?
Pitiful

The only time in the Bible the word "mortgage" is mentioned, it is a result of the judgment of God.

Nehemiah 5:3 Some also there were that said, We have mortgaged our lands, vineyards, and houses, that we might buy corn, because of the dearth.

low interest mtg debt = good debt. the best loan deal that non-nyc satanists can get. imo best to not pay it off early....use money for pm, investing, phyz goods, etc

4% loan and I have enough pm to pay it off now, but I'm planning to keep this mortgage and buy another income property with cash.

If you planned in the past for the future you will then have a bright future... I did and it did paid off... all that I have is free and clear plus I have plenty to back it........ I now do less but at the same time have more than the rest, I use cash, I don't let cash use me... not bad for a dumb Cuban refugee who learned his lesson from the old Cuba.

Yo Padre. Take a chill pill. We're just talking dollars and cents here, nothing more.

Banks are trying to reanimate a dying real estate market. We're entering another deflationary wave. Gold is signaling this. No one knows how low gold will go. But when there is no gold for sale, then we are near the end.

A few scripture verses on hard work, investing and gain.

Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans (Prov. 16:3)

Invest in seven ventures, yes, in eight; you do not know what disaster may come upon the land. (Eccl 11:2)

The plans of the diligent lead to profit as surely as haste leads to poverty. (Prov. 21:5)

All hard work brings a profit, but mere talk leads only to poverty. (Prov. 14:23)

Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap.
For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” (Luke 6:38)

Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. (2 Cor 9:6)

“Again, it will be like a man going on a journey, who called his servants and entrusted his wealth to them.
To one he gave five bags of gold, to another two bags, and to another one bag, each according to his ability.
Then he went on his journey. The man who had received five bags of gold went at once and put his money to work and gained five bags more.
So also, the one with two bags of gold gained two more. But the man who had received one bag went off, dug a hole in the ground and hid his master’s money.
(Matt. 25:14-18)

Be sure you know the condition of your flocks,
give careful attention to your herds;
for riches do not endure forever,
and a crown is not secure for all generations.
When the hay is removed and new growth appears
and the grass from the hills is gathered in,
the lambs will provide you with clothing,
and the goats with the price of a field.
(Prov. 27:23-26)

She considers a field and buys it; out of her earnings she plants a vineyard.
She sets about her work vigorously; her arms are strong for her tasks.
She sees that her trading is profitable, and her lamp does not go out at night.
(Prov. 31:16-18)

But NOT WITH A LOAN!

This silly woman does not even know what the Bible is, she did not quote any of it but rather some ROMAN CATHOLIC PERVERSION!!

The ENTIRE VERSE SAYS

Proverbs 31:16 She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard.

Just look up every instance of BUYING something IN THE BIBLE, it is ALWAYS PAID IN FULL!

That's HOW you BUY something IN THE BIBLE! dumbass!

Good will come to those who are generous and lend freely,
who conduct their affairs with justice. (Psalm 112:5)

Lord, who may dwell in your sacred tent?Who may live on your holy mountain?
....
who lends money to the poor without interest;
(Psalm 15:1-5)

The wicked borrow and do not repay (Psalm 37:21)

You are not to loan him money with interest or sell him your food at a profit. (Lev. 25:37)

“You shall not charge interest on loans to your brother, interest on money, interest on food, interest on anything that is lent for interest. You may charge a foreigner interest, but you may not charge your brother interest (Deut. 23:19-20)

You accuse a few here of taking the Bible out of context....but you do the same thing.....Mr. Rapture boy!
I'm accusing you of not seeing the forest through the trees...your not seeing the bigger picture here at all.

Taking a mortgage out is not a sin. And God doesn't say you cant take out a mortgage. God does say by doing so you are basically a slave to the terms and gives examples of what to expect, but nowhere does God say you cannot have a mortgage to the like you suggest.
I have a mortgage myself and it doesnt make me or anyone else a lesser person by doing so.

Lets not further take other scripture out of context by adding in the interest scriptures as well. The two are not related and should not be mixed in the way you do.

Taking a mortgage out is not a sin. And God doesn't say you cant take out a mortgage.

I NEVER said it was a sin (can you read simple English?)
The Bible reveals that a mortgage is a RESULT of the judgment of God! (read what I actually said)
When people start taking out Mortgages it's a judgment of God on the people!

The only place in the Bible in which you find the word

Nehemiah 5:3 Some also there were that said, We have mortgaged our lands, vineyards, and houses, (note they are ALREADY OWNED) that we might buy corn, (REASON FOR THIS happening >) because of the dearth.

The dearth is God's judgment

I notice you ADDED the word SMALL as if that makes it ok
Why would anyone hand you a stone?

Are you actually trying to implies that John chapter 8 applies here?
Aren't you THE Bible blockhead! (I already know that)

John 8:7 So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.

he did not say he that is without sin cast the first stone (as you imply) he said he that he that is without sin FIRST cast a stone AT HER
This changes the ENTIRE CONTEXT (the man was to be stoned NEXT) she was taken IN THE VERY ACT, he was there TOO Since this WAS A SETUP they all walked away, the MAN was ONE OF THEM trying to SET UP Jesus Christ (which failed, naturally)

Am I understanding your logic correctly?
Are you implying that God punishes by form of mortgage?

Its not a sin but a punishment?
Really?........ A bank lends you money to buy a house, because its almost impossible to save any money to out right buy a house to live in is divine punishment?
Your wires are crossed pal and check your voltage...its a little low!

Here We Go Again: Wells Fargo Is Trying To Give Mortgages To Low-Income, Debt-Heavy Millennials Living At Home
Tags: ECONOMY
Just last week we reported that Wells Fargo was reintroducing 3% down mortgages on its own, without going through the FHA. The reason we said, was that due to Wells' mortgage origination pipeline drying up, the bank was desperate to find new and innovative ways to boost lending.

Webmaster's Commentary:
I will tell you how to boost lending.

HIGH PAYING JOBS SO THAT PEOPLE WILL KNOW THEY CAN PAY BACK WHAT THEY BORROW!
