Bernie Sanders Agrees to Debate Donald Trump

LANCASTER, California — In the latest twist to this unpredictable 2016 presidential race, presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump and Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders independently agreed Wednesday night to debate each other.
On ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" Trump was asked if he would consider holding a debate with Sanders. Trump agreed to the idea.
"If he paid a sum toward charity I would love to do that," said the business mogul, noting that a Sanders vs. Trump debate "would have such high ratings."
Sanders quickly responded with a tweet reading, "Game On. I look forward to debating Donald Trump in California before the June 7th primary."
This response was also a jab at Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton, who this week declined to face off with Sanders in a previously agreed upon California debate.
Sanders said during a Santa Monica rally Monday that he was "disturbed but not surprised" that Clinton "backed out of the debate."
Clinton's communications director Jennifer Palmieri wrote in a statement that her candidate's time was "best spent campaigning and meeting directly with voters across California."

The biggest problem the government had with the mafia, was the mob cutting the government out of their take.
The government is into organized crime as much as the mafia ever was.
The mafia is alive and well today, they all just moved to Wall Street.
Here's a great movie of my old hood days. 36 bombings in the summer of 76. Good times!

Why did he demand that Sanders donated towards charity, he is not a rich man like himself? Or was it directed towards the owner of the network?

It wasn't Trumps idea, so someone has to pay.

An honorable move, but not smart tactically. Trump can take on damage from a debate with Sanders and provide quotes that can be used by the rugbiter in the final campaign. Trump risks being made to look simple and shallow by the silver-tongued bagel eater.

Don't be too sure. I think Trump will deflect and steer the debate toward attacking Hillary.

Both Trump and Burn will likely gain from this debate. The biggest looser will be Hiliary. She most likely be the nominee, but only because she has the support of the super delegates, not the grass roots of democrat party, she would be an incredibly weak candidate, and I wouldn't rule out the possibility of Burn going independent. Is there any formalities that would prevent him from doing that?

She looks for crooked bribes to add to her crooked pile;
She married a crooked man who is a crooked louse,
And they once all lived together in the crooked white house."

You don't think Burn supporters would prefer to vote Burn if he decides to go third party after losing democrat nomination, but instead they will vote Trump?

If he goes 3rd party all votes are void. Those who vote for 3rd are either stupid or revolting on the system. Either way their votes are null. What I was referring to was a poll done that asked who the Burn supporters would vote for if the Burn gets sacked.

Everyone talks about Trump going 3rd party, and how it would guarantee a Hillary victory, but what if Bernie goes 3rd party? Then the democrats are split and Trump will win. I wonder if/how Trump is working to persuade the Bern to go 3rd party.

Forget the 3rd party fantasy route, never going to happen. Way too late to be viable, too late to get on ballots unless some obscure party like greens or commies. Everyone including Burnie knows doing that is a complete waste of time.
