I normally don't say much about my political beliefs, but I really have some issues with what I've been seeing. I was in Chico last night after the Bernie rally, and the people I saw who were clearly in support of sanders all looked very much the same. I'm not stereotyping these people by race or age or gender, but I am going to label them all as idealists. They like the idea of income equality. They like the idea of free education. They like the idea of legalizing marijuana. (and trust me, plenty of it was berned on the sidewalks last night) they like the idea of getting a pay raise to $15/hr. I can't really blame them. These ideas seem great. Goals that most would would like to see happen. There's only one problem:

I didn't see one person with a pair of work boots. Everyone there wanted Bernie to give them the things they want instead of going out and getting it for themselves. I hate seeing capable, strong, and educated peers settling for mediocracy. I feel that if you want to be mediocre, then you deserve a mediocre life. If you want to put in the work, then you will be successful. All of the tools are available in this country for success and there is no body to blame but yourself for failure.

Now I'm not some chest thumping trump supporter. To be honest the guy needs to learn to shut his mouth every now and then. But what I love about trump is the fact that he Expects greatness. He wants America to work for that 15. He wants to put the lower class into productive industries. He wants to motivate people to work, rather than hand out free stuff. He wants to reward those who innovate and create jobs rather than regulate and tax them to the point of breaking.

America can't thrive without a lot of work. The money has to come from somewhere and if theres incentive to be mediocre, then we are wasting our most valuable resource, the people.

Rant over.

I like some of Sander's ideas. Do I believe in free education? No, but I believe in affordable education. Our young are graduating with life long debt loads, while our colleges are not teaching them shit, just collecting fat paychecks.

Two solutions, abolition student loans (from one article I read). Make it a free market, prices for schools would drop to where people could afford them. I paid for my degree pumping gas and delivering pizzas. You should be able to pay for college that way. I had zero debt when I graduated, a degree in hand, and my freedom. Back then, tuition was $600 a quarter. Now, same school, it's $5000 a quarter. Can't pay that pumping gas... The problem, student loans and the agenda to enslave our youth.

Second solution, Bernie's idea. How to help our young pay for school? The banksters get no more free ride. They pay what you and I pay for stock trades. I pay $8 a trade for stocks. The multi-million dollar traders on wall street pay nothing. Simple, make them pay the same $8 per trade as I do, and most folks do. That "tax" will be used for grants, scholarships, etc for young people. Furthermore, it might actually make the stock market more stable. With these stock traders chasing bonuses, shorting stocks, it's all a gamble for them. A free gamble for them, where your average joe wearing working boots has to pay for it. If they had to pay for each stock trade, they might have less fat fingers.

Well, one looks angry, and the other one looks drugged. You don't make America great again, by numbly nodding yes to everything with a glassy eyed blank stare.

Idonno Hitch, I'd still do her. She looks to be happily there and looking for me. Open your horizons man.

To me, following politics is a waste of time. What really changes from administration to administration? The government just gets more and more tyrannical.

Don't get me wrong, I like Trump and will most likely vote for him. His ideas, if he can pull them off, will make our country better.

I just don't like people mindlessly following a slogan such as "make American great again".

Honestly, the only way to make America great again, is not Trump, but to abolish the Fed Reserve and fractional banking. Do that, I'll listen. Until that happens...well look what happened to JFK. Trump has balls, I'll give him that, but we will just have to see what happens.

Apparently you missed the one I need to be with that is wearing the Make America Great Again hat. That's what I'm talking about.
