You could not make this up. Le weed man had offers from the US, Russia, Aussies, and who did he pick? He decided to fly in a bunch of singing niggers.

And so after 5 days, they did what they do best at home-- went on strike for more pay:

JOHANNESBURG – After less than a week on the job, a group of 300 South African firefighters sent to Canada to assist in stopping the Fort Mcmurray wildfire have gone on strike over a pay dispute.

The firefighters garnered international media attention when they touched down in Canada last month singing and dancing as they landed.

The group are part of more than 2,000 firefighters working to extinguish the wildfires - and without their assistance, it’s understood there is insufficient staff.

Working On Fire says it is dispatching it’s senior management team this evening to bring the firefighters home.

Who knows what they were doing in that photo. You've never seen road maintenance workers or traffic trolls in action? Maybe before they got to Canada, they thought they all had to be doing something. They got the idea from somewhere that they weren't being paid enough. It's the same as the UN peace keepers being full of 3rd world country people. Cause it pays many times more than the army pays back home.

I've seen the documentary. I've even been to countries and seen them not working. But you are making assumptions that are based on a photo of which you don't know the circumstances. You are making conclusions about that image based on something unrelated to the situation.

It seems to me that these firefighters are not volunteers. Would that be correct? In the past, Australian firefighters have volunteered to go to the US to help fight wild fires. I would conclude, if they were volunteering they would not expect to get paid, just food and board.

These guys are being paid for going to Canada. So maybe some middleman who made this possible is the one charging the Canadians and is charging/being paid the full Canadian firefigher rate but only paying those guys the rate they would get paid back home. Maybe they are pocketing the difference.

You don't know the full story. You don't even know if those guys were on shift when the photo was taken. Maybe they had finished. Maybe they hadn't yet started - they look relatively clean to me. Perhaps one of them was just trying out the axe to see how well it chopped. Who knows. 10 seconds later they could have all be hacking away with their new axes.

Texas City police say they have a warrant for the arrest of a 25-year-old Houston man after a Tuesday shooting at the Omni gas station.

Police are searching for Syed Obaid Ur Rehman, a store clerk at the station, on the charge of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. Police have set the bond at $80,000.

Police responded to a shooting at the Omni Gas station in the 5900 block of FM 1765 about 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. A store clerk and customer had an argument in which the store clerk was assaulted, police said. In turn, the clerk obtained a shotgun and shot the customer, police allege.

The man was taken to Mainland Medical Center with injuries to his hand and back that did not appear to be life threatening, police said.
