Google is manipulating search results in favor of Hillary Clinton

Search giant Google, Inc. stands accused of manipulating its search results in favor of Hillary Clinton, according to a new report with compelling evidence published Thursday.
SourceFed (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC_gE-kg7JvuwCNlbZ1-shlA), a YouTube channel with 1.7 million followers and with no obvious political affiliation (they primarily publish a mix of news, pop culture, and explanatory videos) makes the claim, demonstrating that when a user types Hilary Clinton and then starts to type another word into the search box, Google’s recommended autocomplete results, which are meant to reflect the popularity of a search term (that is the most commonly search terms) don’t provide the most commonly used search terms and instead scrub negative links for positive ones.
One example given is when a user types “Hillary Clinton crim” into the search bar: instead of being recommend a search such as “Hillary Clinton crimes,” Google instead suggests “Hillary Clinton crime bill 1994,” despite Google’s own trends tool showing that “Hillary Clinton crimes” is by far and away the most popular search term.
In stark contrast, typing “Hillary Clinton crim” into Bing and Yahoo results in the top suggestion being “Hillary Clinton criminal” and “Hillary Clinton criminal investigation” respectively.
An even more bizarre example given is when “Hillary Clinton ind” is entered: instead of bringing up “Hillary Clinton indictment” it brings up Hillary Clinton Indiana, independents and India.

Google denied the claim, telling MarketWatch in a statement (http://www.marketwatch.com/story/google-searches-for-hillary-clinton-yield-favorable-autocomplete-results-report-shows-2016-06-09) that the company was not manipulating any form of search results in favor of a specific presidential candidate.
“Autocomplete predictions are produced based on a number of factors including the popularity of search terms. Our systems are periodically updated to improve search, and our users’ search activity varies, so the terms that appear in autocomplete may change over time…Additionally, our systems automatically filter a small set of offensive or inappropriate content from autocomplete predictions.”

Rubbish Google’s says in its statement that “predictions are produced based on a number of factors including the popularity of search terms,” and yet the video clearly shows that there is a huge gulf between the popularity of the terms not being shown and those being shown; but hidden within that may actually be Google’s real excuse for what it is clearly doing: “our systems automatically filter a small set of offensive or inappropriate content from autocomplete predictions” would suggest that Google’s perhaps thinks that negative Hillary content is offensive or inappropriate.
It’s completely utter rubbish for Google to try to defend itself here as the evidence really couldn’t be clearer.
If you get a chance make sure to watch the video above: there’s no ifs and buts about what’s going on.

The auto-complete now shows "Hillary Clinton indictment for email" when "Hillary Clinton ind" is entered, however still the same results as in the video when "Hillary Clinton cri" is entered.

I know for a fact that it would auto complete "Crooked Hillary" not too long ago while typing "crooked". It no longer does that. So google is lying when they say they aren't manipulating their results.

totally justified. Hewlett Packard ceo --- trump is hitler

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/post-politics/wp/2016/06/10/paul-ryan-put-in-the-hot-seat-about-trump-endorsement-at-romney-summit/

One of the toughest questions for Ryan came from Meg Whitman, the chief executive of Hewlett-Packard and a longtime friend of Romney's who helped bankroll a Republican anti-Trump super PAC this spring. Whitman asked Ryan how he could endorse someone with, in her judgment, such poor character and whose campaign has been based on personal attacks and division.

According to two people present, Whitman said Trump is the latest in a long line of historic demagogues, explicitly comparing him to Adolf Hitler and Benito Mussolini.

How about this? Just type your search out and stop relying on auto complete? Lemmings gonna lemming and we can't stop Goggle from how they run their search engine. We have much bigger problems than this to whine about

I searched "Hillary Clinton death trail", and was asked to review Google's privacy policy, or something to that effect. I couldn't get the message back after agreeing. Try and see if you get a similar message...
