Violence has spilled onto the terraces in Marseille as fans brawl with each other in the Stade Vélodrome after England's draw with Russia.
Supporters were seen battling it out after the final whistle as Russian fans ripped down English flags and ran after their rivals across rows of seats, just minutes after the Group B opener finished 1-1.
Hundreds of English fans have been chased out of the ground by Russian hooligans as ugly scenes, involving 30 minutes of brawling between supporters, cap off a disappointing night for English football.
Clashes between gangs of thugs from both nations had temporarily stopped in Marseille's Old Port district, which has been the heartland of the brutality for the past three days, but restarted in the stadium as tensions once again boiled over.
Fans hurled themselves over railings and worried parents were seen carrying small children away from the brawling, with stewards trying their best to intervene between scuffles.
It is believed that the fighting has died down with a portion of Russia's supporter held back to allow England fans to exit the stadium. Fans from both nations later left the stadium peacefully.
UEFA has announced that it will launch an investigation into the crowd incidents this evening, with 2018 World Cup hosts Russia set to face the more serious action action for their role in the violence.
