Giving a speech today in the aftermath of the Orlando terrorist attack this past weekend, a clearly defensive and thin-skinned Barack Obama stared into the cameras and declared it was America’s fault for the tragic loss of life and was defiant that he would not now, and not ever, place blame for what happened on radical Islam.
It was quite possibly, the president’s most bizarre and anti-American performance yet.
ABOVE: Barack Obama condemned Americans who would speak out against radical Islam.
—————
The president attacked gun owners, attacked critics of his administration, and then spent a fair amount of time attacking GOP candidate for president, Donald Trump.
Mr. Obama dismissed Trump’s call for a temporary halt on Muslim immigration from countries that are known hotbeds of terrorist activity as outrageous and “not American.”
“Is this something Republicans are seriously considering?”
The president also criticized those who dared to criticize him for his unwillingness to use phrases like “radical Islam” and “Islamic terror” saying such words anger radicals and make America less safe.
Consider that, reader. The current Commander in Chief is warning Americans not to use certain words for fear of angering a group of people who want to wipe us out. That is now the Obama defense strategy against terrorism – to be quiet and ignore reality for fear of hurting our enemies feelings.
Even some among the left-leaning media were giving each other bewildered glances as Mr. Obama continued to deliver what amounted to a condemnation of American citizens’ collective desire to protect themselves against radical Islamic terror. Even as further factual evidence points to a majority of Muslims who wish to ban homosexuality outright, or who think making fun of their faith should be against the law, or that one out of ten Muslims think it acceptable to wage deadly jihad against the “enemies of Islam”, Mr. Obama continues to inexplicably defend the indefensible.
Instead of pointing to the Muslim community both here in America and abroad and demanding they seek to clean themselves of the stink that is radical Islam, Barack Obama chooses to condemn the United States and its citizens for remaining fearful and angry over a faith that is producing far more terrorism than any other:
It’s as if Barack Obama thinks himself the protector of Islam far more than he thinks himself the President of the United States, and his words today will only further solidify that perception.
