You couldn't possibly be a teacher of the Constitution. Not with a left wing hit piece like this. Terms like "social justice" and "more inclusive" are communist terms used to whittle away the rights of free people. And this is not a "representative democracy", it's a Constitutional Republic.
Another mistake is the fact that without the 2nd amendment we would still have the right to keep and bear arms because of the 10th amendment.
The 2nd amendment has a very important purpose. And anyone who teaches about the Constitution should know exactly what that is. It is a safeguard against a tyrannical government. Only someone who is in support of a leftist agenda to disarm Americans and violate their rights would ever consider repealing the 2nd amendment. The founders knew exactly what would happen if the people weren't armed with military grade weapons. And obviously they were right because we've seen it happen with many other governments already. And unless we have a death wish, the 2nd amendment isn't going anywhere.
The idea that the founders didn't know that we would have firearms like the AR-15 is completely ridiculous. They intended for us to have whatever firearms were currently in use by the military. They expected there to be a balance between the citizens and the government. The purpose of the 2nd amendment is to make sure that the government can never become more powerful than the people. And if there is a restriction or a limit on the number and type of firearms we can have, then the purpose of the 2nd amendment is lost.
It's amazing how some people can twist the facts in such a convoluted way. Who is advocating for a club full of intoxicated people to be armed and start shooting at someone in a dark and noisy place? Of course it would be a disaster. There are instances where allowing people to carry a firearm makes sense, but a bar or club that serves alcohol is not one of them. However, a place that has large crowds of people should have armed security because of the threat of mass shootings. Waiting for the police to arrive is not a good option. In the several minutes it takes for them to arrive, a lot of people could be killed. Having someone already there will greatly reduce the number of people that can be shot, and the fact that a place is not a gun free zone will likely cause any possible terrorists or mass shooters to choose somewhere else for their horrible crimes. Almost every mass shooting has occurred in a gun free zone because the people who do these terrible acts are cowards who don't want someone to shoot back at them.
If you operate an establishment that has large crowds of people and is a gun free zone, you might as well put up a "mass shooting zone" sign where everyone can see it. Because that's what a gun free zone is, a mass shooting zone.
The answer to any problem is never less liberty. And repealing the 2nd amendment is less liberty, and is certain to become no liberty. The 2nd amendment protects all the other amendments. And this alleged teacher of the Constitution should know that.
If this is the kind of garbage you're teaching, I feel sad for the students. You need to take a long hard look at some real history books before you teach anyone else. Because you've got it all wrong.

25. States noted that the illicit trade in small arms and light weapons has implications for the realization of several SDGs, including those relating to peace, justice and strong institutions, poverty reduction, economic growth, health, gender equality, and safe cities and communities.


26. States underlined the importance of the full and effective implementation of the PoA and ITI for attaining SDG 16 and SDG Target 16.4.



31. To ensure that destroyed and deactivated small arms and light weapons are rendered permanently inoperable such that illicit reactivation is physically impossible, and recognizing the value of relevant best practices in this regard.



35. To coordinate, as appropriate, national-level implementation of the PoA with relevant subregional, regional and international instruments, and with related issues and processes, including disarmament, demobilization, and reintegration; border controls; organized crime; terrorism; urban crime; relevant UN resolutions; and related capacity-building initiatives.


36. To take into account complementarities between the PoA and relevant subregional, regional and global instruments in which Member States participate in order to enhance, as appropriate, national-level coordination on the implementation of the PoA.


37.
