Get rid of gun free zones and make it easier for the citizens who do decide to carry to defend themselves. When I had my license back in Indiana I would still carry in a "Gun free zone" just because I knew those were likely targets by some nutjob. Don't ask for permission.

Had someone had a gun, does anyone here think he would of been charged for carrying a weapon in a gun free zone and saving lives in the night club? The state MAY of charged him but I doubt a jury would of convicted. He would of been hailed as a hero.

You're definitely not getting a jury that allows you get away with breaking federal law. Maybe a state trial with state jury, but not federal level.

When it all starts it's the city dwellers that will fall first. They're in a concentrated area that can be surrounded and controlled very quickly. The "outliers" who are much more spread out geographically will have more time to prepare, flee or defend.
