CLEVELAND, Ohio — Several people suffered injuries after they climbed on a bus stop at East 9th Street and Lakeside Avenue during the Cleveland Cavaliers victory parade celebration.
The injuries appeared to be minor, mostly lacerations, witnesses told cleveland.com.
Cleveland police have not provided additional details.
An estimated 1 million people came downtown to watch the Cavs celebrate their first NBA title, and the city's first major sports championship in 52 years. Revelers climbed on buildings, bus stops and traffic lights to get a better vantage of the parade.
