I don't care what anyone says at the 1.15 mark a angel picked up his back wheel and steadied him.
He should been a permanent part of the rock face and pavement

I won't even touch on the fact they did this down hill on a open road.
I almost passed out when I saw on coming traffic.

Yeah, for sure it looked like he was about to eat it. That video is about as dangerous as it gets.

Good shredding, that guy cut it way close, and also agree on almost loosing it and also almost getting face smacked a few times.

A lot of you must not ride to know that any bike will correct itself. Watched many guys ride wheelies with the sheet metal making sparks and still keep it up in the air. My bagger I didn't really have to use the steering much......most of it is leaning the bike to turn. And both my sporty and bagger stood themselves up coming out of a turn and straighten themselves up. That is what is nice about bottom heavy bikes like Harleys. But then again I watched a few go down for using their front brakes while turning....big no no! Having a passenger on the back wasn't a big deal as long as she understood to lean with you into a turn. The exwife was a perfect rider. Had an ex girlfriend that could out ride most guys...including myself. Watched her take her superglide down Conesville drag strip one year.

Doing that shit with a cruiser is asking for an early trip to then big bike rally in the sky. The kid is an idiot

I've been riding for 30 years and you're an idiot! Bikes don't correct themselves. That what the rider is for!

I just watched it again, the low center of gravity definitely helped keep him upright. I bet many other riders on most other bikes with even just a slightly higher center of gravity wouldn't be able to do that. His knees almost touched the ground many times. That's why it looks so impressive.

It's clear the rider has a lot of experience with racing bikes and was able to control that cruiser because of his experience. Don't try this at home you old Harley riders, it won't end well

Been riding dirt bikes since I was 8 and have had bikes ever since (40 years).
My classic bagger all you had to do is give it a little gas coming out of a turn and it will stand itself up all by itself. Its difficult to lean the bagger going straight down the road. The bigger tires on the bigger bikes act like gyro's...couple that with it being a low center of gravity from the weight of the motor and you have a good machine that doesn't take much to operate. Not even going to mention the batwing fairing acts like stabilizers in the wind.
Why do you think women who weight less than 120lbs can handle a 800lb bagger with ease?

Definitely taking some chances... Freakin idiot for riding with no protection though in just jeans and a t-shirt. If he laid her down he was getting a bad rash. The sport bike had no problem keeping up.

Then you must realize your statement about 'bikes correct themselves' is a bit of a stretch. Bike don't go full retard all by themselves but you need to maintain control and the skill (and often times luck) of the rider determines of whether he gets a ride in a big van to the ER or not

That is the truth. keeps hurting too. I've found the southern pavement with the river rock to be very slick. Still grinds off skin though.

200,000 miles later I still hurt from a crash in May 1989, 3 herniated discs in my neck. I rode a 1987 Harley Tourglide 186,000 miles mostly on crooked mountain roads around Reno and Northern California.

Back in the day a lot of the Flat Track bikes where Harleys. An experienced rider is also the most important factor. I was the passenger in one of those big 70s land yacht cars with an ex race car driver behind the wheel he routinely out corned mustangs and corvettes becasuse they were too scared to get into a 4 wheel drift at 90 miles per hour.

They still have Harley flat track races. I used to go to Sacramento and watch them.

Thats badass! Nothing as wild as doing 120 on a bike then pitching sidways for the turn!

I dont think the Harley even needed a rider downhill,
after the 2nd curve he could've jumped off it and it still would've reached the bottom

ah, flat track is what we call speedway down here. I loved going to the speedway when I was a kid. We used to get down on turn 1 and the mud would spray all over you. You had to pay $1 more to get into the stands down there, but you got a free afternoon news paper. Put some on the bleachers to sit on. Get a couple of pages and poke some eye holes in them so you could hold em up and still watch the races. Mud hitting the paper. pat pat pat pat. They used to sell awesome hamburgers there and HUUGGEE buckets of hot chips, also very tasty hot soup. hmmmm.
There was bikes, sidecars, sprint cars - two types but I don't know the difference other than 1 class was bigger with more spoilers. Super sedans. The big events were when the "Yanks" came down for the world series and all those kinds of things. We'd get to see some real superstars and very hard core racing.
Then there was the demolition derbys'. Always a big crowd for that. They moved the speedway about 50kms outside the city. Would be about 100mile round trip for me, so I haven't been. It's combined drags and speedway facility. I should go sometime I guess.

Jeans and t-shirt was the scariest part of this video for me.
