BALLWIN, Mo. — A day after five officers were shot and killed in Dallas, two have been shot in separate states.
A police officer was shot in a suburb of St. Louis.

The incident was caught on the police car cameras.
The officer is in the hospital in critical condition.

In Georgia, authorities say a man opened fire on a police officer in Valdosta Friday morning.
The man reportedly called 911 to report a break-in.
When the officers arrived, he ambushed them, hitting the officer in the abdomen, just below the protective vest.
Other shots hit the officer’s vest.
The suspect was also shot.
Both men are expected to survive.
Valdosta Police Chief Brian Childress said the officer was shot “multiple times” but is going to be fine.
The suspect was not identified.
Childress would not discuss a possible motive.
Dutton said it’s early in the investigation, but there’s nothing to indicate that the shooting was related to the ambush of police officers in Dallas.

I don't know much about photography, but it seems a bit silly/overkill for the woman to be using such a high powered DSLR camera to take an up close photo like that.
Wedding photos shot at a distance and viewed at full resolution will often show a tiny spec of food on your tooth or a boog in your nose.

90% of them do. It's the militant cops that need to be dealt with (no I don't mean shoot at them, I mean remove them from that role as in fired)

That, and take away all their paramilitary gear along with the federal money. I live 110 miles or so east of dallas and already two county's next to mine are starting to scream (in the local media) they need to up armor and weaponize because they feel their military toys that they have now , are now not enough...
I fully expect them to start hollering that they need their own robots and heaver weapons. Most here use .233/5.56 long guns with a small mix of .308's. I know that some of the long guns are full auto / 3 round burst types..
Bitching that their vests and such need to be replaced because they can not stop rifle rounds and such..
Interesting times..
