Here he is in Cleveland, obnoxious as ever, with his NWO Goldman Sachs demon wife. He's beginning his 2020 campaign today.

What a nutjob...

Maybe this speech is an indication of what he'll say tonight?

The hooked nosed lyin chump doesn't have a chance of getting elected in 2020 if Trump gets in and runs America like it was intended.
Who would elect a politician over a proven businessman...after all the federal government is set up no different than any business.
What real experience does Cruz have running a business?

If Cruz doesn't endorse Trump and try to unite the party, I only hope the people there boo him off stage.

I can't imagine why Trump would even want him there. Ted is a proven liar, cheated Ben Carson, stole delegates from Trump and was part of the Romney never Trump movement.

The guy is scum! Nothing he can say would ever win me over.

As another Lame Cherry exclusive in matter anti matter.

I am stunned after observing Ted Cruz, for Donald Trump provided Mr. Cruz the golden microphone to set Cruz's future, and for some reason, Ted Cruz wrapped his neck in the cord, jumped off the stage, and then beat himself to death.

I feel sorry for Ted Cruz, who stood on the stage trying to milk adoration which was not there, and then invaded a slain Texas police officers family's grief, followed by Mr. Cruz revisiting the smear against New York, then slapped New York delegates again in smirking at them, and then found a way to alienate not just the majority, but the Ted Cruz cult at the convention.

What Ted Cruz somehow managed on a political suicide bomber attack on Republicans and America, was to bring out a WE WANT TRUMP chorus, which sent Ted Cruz off the stage.

Donald Trump is pure class. Ted Cruz was only crass.

This is the end of Ted Cruz. He finished himself politically, and nothing could be better for Conservatives and the movement. I simply am stunned as I began this post with, that Ted Cruz destroyed himself like some Clinton lunatic who wrapped himself in the flag and set himself on fire.

The nice part is we will never have to watch this again, because as Eric Trump provided the shovel, Newt Gingrich filled the hole and Mike Pence tamped down the last dirt on the political grave of Ted Cruz.

Still stunned, as I never have observed a political suicide and only watched the footage of Jim Jones at Jonestown. Fortunately, the Cruz supporters threw the green kool ade to the floor at the convention, and refused to participate in Cruzicide

Last night we saw one of the best melt downs in political history. Cruz took his whole family's future down the drain in one fell swoop.

Hopefully the next time we hear of Ted Cruz, it will be in the Obituaries.

Ted Cruz Is Heckled Again the Morning After His Non-Endorsement
By MATT FLEGENHEIMER and JONATHAN MARTIN
JULY 21, 2016

Ted Cruz addressed his home state’s delegation at a morning breakfast on Thursday in Cleveland, and many of the Texans there remained hostile toward the senator after his convention speech the night before.

CLEVELAND — Facing jeers even from many of his own constituents, Senator Ted Cruz of Texas on Thursday defended his non-endorsement of Donald J. Trump, talking down hecklers at a fractious breakfast forum the morning after his performance onstage upended the Republican National Convention.

In an extraordinary display of party division — at a typically staid Texas state delegation breakfast that is intended to exemplify convention-week harmony — Mr. Cruz strained to manage the vitriol directed his way, stressing that he had not said a cross word about Mr. Trump.

“I addressed the convention because Donald Trump asked me to,” he said. “And when Donald Trump asked me to, he didn’t ask me to endorse.”

“We don’t just put on red jerseys and blue jerseys,” he added. “This is about principles and ideals.”

Repeatedly, the taunts rained down on him.

“Sit down!” one man said, before a “Clinton-Cruz 2020” sign was raised.

“You need to do it now!” shouted another.

“Do it!” yelled a third. “Do it now!”

When attendees pointed out Mr. Cruz’s past pledge to support the eventual Republican nominee, Mr. Cruz suggested that any agreement was “abrogated” when Mr. Trump attacked the senator’s family.

“I am not in the habit of supporting people who attack my wife and attack my father,” he said, adding that he was not a “servile puppy dog.”

A man in the back hollered at the stage: “You’ve got to get over it. This is politics.”

“No, this is not politics,” Mr. Cruz said sharply. “I will tell the truth.”

Mr. Cruz said the response of Trump supporters was troubling.

“What does it say when you stand up and say ‘vote your conscience,’” he began, “and rabid supporters of our nominee begin screaming, ‘What a horrible thing to say!’”

If the nominee cannot meet that threshold, he said, “We are not going to win and don’t deserve to win.”

It was another vintage Cruz performance — defiant, lofty and certain to anger even people inclined to defend him — delivered before a bitterly divided audience from the home state that offered him a convincing victory in its presidential primary.

Some attendees left the reception hall as he spoke. Others showered him with partial standing ovations.

One man, Thomas Mathis, said loudly that he was helping to elect Hillary Clinton and demonstratively turned his back, facing a table of beverages, as Mr. Cruz pressed on.

Another guest, Shawn McAnelly, who twice shouted at Mr. Cruz, was warned by security that if he did so again, he would be ejected.

Mr. Cruz sought to depict his critics as reflective of two men considered boogeymen for hard-line conservatives: John Boehner and Mitch McConnell.

He suggested that the calls to endorse under any circumstances reminded him of Washington ethos of “sit down, shut up, just support the team.”

“If that’s the price, I ain’t gonna do it,” he said.

Other members of the Texas delegation made no attempt to mask their anger at Mr. Cruz, who rose to political stardom with his attacks on other Republicans.

“It’s consistent behavior from him,” Representative Pete Sessions said before Mr. Cruz spoke on Thursday, adding, “He continued what he is — it’s about Ted.”

Representative Jeb Hensarling told reporters that Mr. Cruz had delivered the beginnings of an effective speech on Wednesday night and then “missed a two-foot putt” at the end.

As Mr. Cruz wrapped up, after taking several questions — mostly of the same theme — from the crowd, a Trump and a Cruz supporter stood nose to nose.

“Don’t put your finger in my face!” the Cruz supporter yelled.

Mr. McAnelly said in an interview after the speech that Mr. Cruz was the one sowing division.

“All he did is help Hillary, he knows that,” Mr. McAnelly said.

A Texan at the next table overheard Mr. McAnelly’s comments.

“All you do is help the media,” the man, Wes Brumet, a delegate from Longview, Tex., shot back.

Mr. McAnelly stormed off. “Y’all caused this!” he said.

Mr. Cruz’s advisers say they are not surprised by the response to his address Wednesday night, bracing for boos in the convention arena and the firestorm that followed.

“Uneventful,” a top campaign aide, Chris Wilson, said dryly when asked about his week, drifting toward the beverage table.

Mr. Cruz’s team has noted that Mr. Trump’s campaign — which includes a former top Cruz adviser, Jason Miller — had seen the speech in advance, that Mr. Cruz delivered it virtually verbatim as written and that Mr. Cruz had himself spoken to Mr. Trump about the fact that he would not endorse.

In his remarks on Thursday, Mr. Cruz left himself at least some political wiggle room for the next few months, noting that “the election isn’t today” and insisting he could never support Mrs. Clinton.

He said he did not intend to “go out and throw rocks at Donald.”

Minutes later, though, in response to another heckler, he made an observation: Mr. Trump would probably not stand before voters and take questions like this.

I caught the end of his delusional speech. He was glowing in the cheers of all of the people... even though they were not cheering for him. When he gave a back handed non endorsement to trump... cruze thought he was starting his 2020 campaign... when in reality he settled it! The really creepy smile he had on his face was way beyond weird! It shows his delusion and sickness when he cant hear the boos and just keeps on creepin!

“I addressed the convention because Donald Trump asked me to,” he said.

Trump knows how to "size up" people, and he knows how to move people like chess pieces into places where they out themselves. Trump knew exactly that Ted would self destruct, and that's why he put him on the stage.

I just have to chime in despite the politics..

I sorta saw this coming and my posts have reflected this, I really really dislike to say this but knowing he has a Hispanic heritage and such he had to defend his family, which if they that choose to remember he dropped out after his father was drug through the mud.. And macho heritage will not permit it..

Sorta knew something was coming, and I did enjoy my popcorn..

Do I like him, hell no...but unlike most politicians he did defend him and his at a basic level..

Which I give kudos to !

Unlike many that sell their souls he stud up, now is he clean highly doubt it, but I could see he is playing the long game, which, may or not work for him along with the other politicians that are staying on the sideline.

I like trump, mostly because he is shaking up the system, which is a system that is over due for a shakeup. But he also scares the hell out of me. Most here run by the now and want a system that all here can not agree which would work.

I do not like Cruz, but I can respect him for despite the politics he stood up for basic convictions, were they real. ? who in the fuck knows, but most politictians have sold their souls long past ..

This country is long overdue for a shakeup, and trump maybe the trigger.

Now the white/black/brown revolution I think not..

Mainly because I think the younger generations do not and will not carry over the feelings of their parents, due to being brought up in this connected world..

You can thank the internet and social media for that, which is pulling many people from different country's and all what that means closer.

I would never vote for cruz, as said I do not ever like him, nor mostly what he trys to push.

But he did act like what I would call a true texan in as far as there is somethings that can not be forgiven.. Despite the blow back.. But I also suspect he also did it to set himself for later in time elections...

I called it from the first , he did lay a shit bomb on trump, only took two brain cells to see it coming..

Again I do not like him, but he did not bend, even if he is a far northern yankee born north of the us boarder, and wet back (crossed the red river)

Personally I hope he never gets elected again, but I feel he will and he will be on the political arena after trump.. But by that time maybe they that hold seats now in gov, will be kicked out...(pipe dream)

I like trump and feel politics will never be the same again, which maybe is a very good thing..

Get rid of the special interest lobbyist, limit all elected to no more than two terms, and do away with career politicians..

Most in gov never have held an honest job other than while in school, most are lawyers (which all should be burnt on a stake) They that are elected into office should for qualifications should have worked as normal people and not being a rich bitch or bastard that most of our politicians are from our historical dynasty's..

We the people are not ruled by the elate but doing the peoples (majority vote) bidding..

And the hell with all the rest..

Know I went sideways to some here, so be it !

Cruz did hold up to what a true texan would hold, close to the heart, kuddos for that

but he is still a wet back yankee..

Twennt born here.

I'll address one part of this. Cruz's heritage had nothing to do with it. Was it any different that Cruz called Trump a con man and a fraud? Let me put this another way...If someone called you a con man and a fraud in front of your family, isn't it the same as calling the whole family a bunch of frauds too? Wouldn't your family be just as offended, the same as calling a wife, or father the same?

Cruz's attacks on Trump was absolutely no different then the attacks Trump made back. The only difference is, Cruz is a piece of shit!

Sorry the truth hurts.

The only good thing about trump is he is shaking and baking the establishment..which is a good thing..

Cruz did stand by family and principles , which in a politician is non existent. which in Cruz calls maybe called the same.. (kudos for that) I do not care for ether. buy a long shot or short shot I do admire him for standing up to what he did, political or not,

but trump is shaking and baking the establishment, which is a very good thing.. I like him for doing that.

Look at it in reality, if that exists in your mind.

The repubs have been after the clintons for dam near 25 years..If she gets elected ...what ?

Same as under obammer, nothing total grid lock..

Trump maybe something may change, but probably not so much other than drive independents to the dem side....long term.

Good is the shake up...fact !

I suspect politics will never be the same, and this round of shit is , repeat is shaking things up.

But to get what you and others here want, highly doubt it....the majority of this nation would crap on what most here on this forum wants..

Blame social media and the internet for this, it will not be turned back, so we are a minority and to boot a very small minority compared to the bigger picture/majority..

Sucks but I feel very close to the real truth..

Majority wins...
