Who ever sent me the care package for my cat...THANK YOU.

In the VA hospital for four day, have two compound broken ribs.......at first they thought that it was nothing till they took the x rays and then they became very concern, I has a private room and my own. private nurse with only one other patient.

They took me yesterday to see the neurosergeont (head Dr.) who didn't know what was wrong with, he only told me (and the college professor) to take care of my BP. They took me to the appointment in a private ambulance with a nurse driver.

My stay at the hospital was super, they treat me as if I were King Ponce LOL. Tired now and going back to sleep, ribs hurting night night.

Welcome back Ponce!
A couple members here had you dead and buried and were on their way with shovels to dig up your barbeque pit.

Go Ponce.
I busted three ribs and my right collar bone last year. Not too bad, unless you sneeze...or cough...or laugh. :)

Sheesh Ponce.... I thought you were half way to Puerto Rican heaven on a banana boat hijacked to Cuba by a dozen goat-humping muslim terrorists wearing suicide vests targeting the boat because they were afraid of flying.

To avoid getting broken ribs, you have to stop diving into your maze of trenches practicing for incoming artillery.

Nice to see you posting. Take it easy. Ribs take a while to heal. I'm on month two with broken ribs, and no private nurse.

Do you want to tell us the story? Pushing the envelope again?

The object of the game is to get out in one piece!

My handlebar clipped a tree branch at speed during a mountain bike enduro race, and flung me sideways into a boulder with my ribs taking the brunt of the impact.

Thank you guys, love you 2.

As you know I have a case of vertigo and I loose my balance a lot, this time it happen in my living room and when I fell my chest hit the edge of the coffee table, it took me five days to know that I was badly hurt. The Dr didn't believe that I drove 110 miles in the shape that I was in.....nothing knew, I drove one time 20 miles with a broken right leg and shoulder. Open reduction on shoulder and I now missing 1/2 inch....right leg shorter 1/2 inch from a broken hip and all toes in right leg frozen but the big toe.... ufffffffff and that's only the beginning.

All that I now can do is to read and sleet.....that's more like my style ....... lol.

Hey ponce, take it easy and be well. Keep us posted. You too milehi, I'm glad in your case it was just some ribs. At the speeds you travel in those races, it could have been a lot worse.

An open reduction? For those who don't know, he was cut open to fix a dislocated joint. I'm sure they tried hard for a closed reduction before resulting in the open option. One tough mother fucker.

Maybe its time to dig up some of that silver you buried and move into a nice "ASSISTED LIVING" facility. Your cat will love it there. You can have high-speed internet and visit us daily Ponce. They even provide all the toilet paper!

4 broken here, no nurse either, needs to get Obama care for that. No coughing, sneezing, laughing, moving and no jumping jacks. Noticed my posture up to down has an anomolie which I need to follow up with the chiropractor for, otherwise I will face a lifetime of bad news... I dont like bad news.

Seems like a forum epidemic right now... Yes, let it heal up and, then go to the chiropractor!

Good to hear from you Ponce. We really got scared about you for a while. At least get yourself a maid that comes and help you with washing, cooking etc. Spend the silver you have, after all no-one deserves the wealth more than you do. One silver coin is good to save though for the last journey!
