I have a Facebook account. I used to use it regularly but now just use it to stay in touch with family since it's a primary form of communication for some of them.

On my list it had me listed as a Conservative, though it also had me listed as an avid Football fan (I despite Football.) There were a bunch of other things it had me listed as that were incorrect that I won't name.

The algos for it definitely aren't perfect, but I'm sure it uses it's trackers from when you go to different websites. I now block all these trackers, and simply don't post politics on my Facebook.

The problem with Facebook is you can't delete your account or information from their database. If you're in a situation like me the best thing is to either run disinfo and misdirecting information, and/or stop posting about politics.

I'm thinking of joining some Leftist groups/pages.

Actually, Fagbook has "shadow" pages for every known person. You don't have to sign up, agree to their "terms," and use it. You have a page anyways. But yes, you can't delete it, either.

I do FB for one reason only, drama. I added a bunch of people from high school and it's amazing the personal things they post. I post dumbshit and videos I think are decent. No politics, can read that on other posts and the 'friends' that end up hating each other for their opinions... lol Kinda like being way back in high school again.
